Ambrose, I am sure it was worth posting twice, but....

An Ab trimmer may have some effect, though I found mine to be useless. Plus I have a very deep lower lumber region and the Ab trimmer gives me back trouble.

As for push-ups..... I have really weedy upper arm strength. In my day, I was training to be an athlete (100m sprint, relay and hurdles).... I have strong legs but weak upper arms. Therefore, I can't manage push-ups....

Because their low self-esteem is a self-defence or self-preservation mechanism. They have come to know, and be able to deal with, the familiarity of how they feel about themselves. Its a "comfort-zone" in effect.

To think more highly of themselves is alien to them, they are unsure as to how to deal with it and if they see you as the one highlighting or "forcing" them to see themselves in any other way.......

They see YOU as the one making them feel uncomfortable..... any help??

Here Ya Go, Ladies.... The Ultimate Quick & Easy Exercise

Not that I am suggesting any of you need it, of course..... but just a little something to tone your tummy??

This comes from a professional fitness trainer. Everyone who has tried it has told me it works!!

Here's what you do:

Lie on your tummy on the floor, resting on your elbows (as you would if you were on the beach, reading a book?).

Now, raise yourself up onto your toes, keeping your lower arms flat on the floor (still reading that book). Effectively, your bum is stuck up in the air (you may want to do this in private? Hee hee...). Keep that position for as long as you are able. It may not be for very long the first few times.....

You will feel the muscles in your thorax and abdomen pulling. After the first time you do it, you will be conscious of your muscles, probably the next day. But it gets easier and you will able to support yourself for longer each time.

It only need take a few minutes each day and you don't have to do it all at once, you can have a breather and come back to it again later...

I have been told that results have been noticed after just one week (depending on how often its done and for how long, of course)......

Feedback would be most useful (by mail if you prefer) but I suggest probably don't do it immediately after eating and if you have a medical condition, you may want to consult your doctor first?

Yes, the weekend was mentioned simply because of those nearer to Italy/Sorrento. Those coming from the UK and other places will, no doubt, be staying a week or more...??

If someone chooses to publicly humiliate someone in that way, it sounds like it smacks of severe immaturity, to be frank. The end of a relationship is a private and personal thing and should be dealt with as such.

Having said that, we really only have your version of events and I know nothing of what really happened....

Though, if someone treated me in such a casually dismissive and disrespectful fashion, I think I'd be better off without them......
