when my ex broke up wit me we were at a party an i was totally drunk, she saw this an took an advantage, she told me it was over in front of my friends embrassed me in public, i looked at her an said thank you it was nice knowing you, an walked away 2 get a drink cause she had som one else all d time so what she did was a blessing, she followed me started 2 curse an get on it ended up with me gettin into a big fight wit her an the guy i waiked away but that wil always sting me my question is in a party how would you copee with a break up?------ This thread is Archived ------

If someone chooses to publicly humiliate someone in that way, it sounds like it smacks of severe immaturity, to be frank. The end of a relationship is a private and personal thing and should be dealt with as such.
Having said that, we really only have your version of events and I know nothing of what really happened....
Though, if someone treated me in such a casually dismissive and disrespectful fashion, I think I'd be better off without them......

If it was me, I would go home, I would walk away and go to the safety of my home, and curl up safely and do my best to recover.
If your friends are your friends they will support you, mine would.

Personally I think that is a gutless way to break up with someone. I dont have the guts to do it myself, so I'll drink a gut full of grog and do it.

Well Lola, not always...sometimes its just 1 party that wants out...and the other really wants to keep it together...at least that's how it was in my case....I mean to say that, I understood when she wanted out: but I damn sure didn't want her to go...
