Huhhh?? You only after those you consider "ugly" then, Ship??!!
Thanks for the compliment, though, love.....
BTW.... actually I CAN manage to get my hands on some blueprints of a bank, interested??!! I also have a CLEAN pair of stockings.... they are fish-nets though, so be careful of your nose.... okay??!!
By all means, you are not gonna know unless you meet her.
Me, personally, I wouldn't be making any definitive plans as such until after that meet-up. I couldn't possibly make future commitments without meeting someone first. A connection over the airwaves or telephone is one thing, the rest is quite another.......
Quite often, if one has been on there own for some time, devoid of love and affection, and craving companionship, it can cloud one's otherwise rational judgements....??
"Or could it because we're not happy in our own lives that we have to make everyone elses life miserable too?"
That denotes intent......
In trying not to judge TOO harshly though, let's not forget that some are not as adept in putting their viewpoints across as articulately as we might hope?
I see much evidence of some preferring to all too readily err on the side of the negative when something gets misconstrued (which is all very easy to do with just using text, i.e. lack of tone, body language, expression, etc). The INTENT to upset may not actually be there, it may be down to individual approach? Let's face it, my approach is not to everyone's taste at times, eh?
I think if we are not familiar with the individual personality and the other lacking factors (mentioned above), perhaps give the benefit of the doubt and prefer to err on the side of the positive??
If it becomes apparent someone's intent IS to cause upset or offence, then it sheds a completely different light on things.
Those who are clearly out to be offensive though, as I have said before, I am unclear as to what purpose that is meant to serve...??!!
There's not much I DON'T like.... its it doesn't move, I'll eat it!!
My favourites though are black olives, garlic bread, sundried tomatoes, artichokes, houmous, fish.... especially seafood. Crispy Peking Duck is one I just lurvve and can't live without.....
The strongest ever, most maturest of cheeses. Marmite.
Firstly, one needs to define "attack"?? Other than being blatantly and overtly intended to offend, in anyone's book, its rather subjective, isn't it? In the sense of perception, individual sensitivities and the like??
A differing viewpoint, perhaps even the approach with which that opinion is given will ALWAYS be added to the mix, won't it? Admittedly, there are times when a more articulate approach may have been given but that's down to a whole gamut of elements, eloquence, judgement, knowing one's topic perhaps, none least of which... personalities.
And don't forget..... are we actually ALLOWED to voice a true opinion any more? As someone once said "political correctness trumps common sense ever time...." Mmmm.....
As for the clearl intention of offending.... I'm not quite sure what that is supposed to achieve??
RE: Give something to the one above you ...
A crash-helmet for some of those morecontroversial*cough* errmmm.... "thought-provoking" threads....??
