No, you misunderstand. My heart is not necessarily with "the children".... that was purey an example. I am talking about who is most worthy.... I thought that was clear?
There is no way I would sacrifice a starving child (e.g.), a homeless pensioner, someone who couldn't afford heating or food, someone who could't afford presents for their children at Christmas for someone who had put a broken bottle in someone's face, drunk-driving, arson, etc, etc..... not a chance!!
If someone has misfortune and someone CHOOSES to commit a crime and end up in prison..... how is that comparable??!!
No.... they will be given presents by their nearest and dearest. Besides, they have committed a crime against others.... if one doesn't want to make sacrifices (which they don't really make here!), then don't do the crime!!
There are sooo many people who are short of money, no prospects, little to look forward to and yet they don't resport to breaking the law and doing a dis-service to others......
I am supposed to be going to bed!! The only reason I have been on here at all since the changes to the Forums is that I can click on "All Threads" to make it how it used to be....
Can anyone tell me if there is a way to make that my default??! Pleeeeeze... anyone??!!
Actually, I wasn't referring to any previous thread, I don't remember that one. But, its true.... in this country, prisoners get a cushy time of it, for sure!!
What shall it be.... burglary? Car-jacking? Ooooo.... the options are endless!! In fact, drunk and disorderly may prove a little more exciting? Back to my mis-spent youth then??!!
The pic is not that new, love. Taken some time early spring this year maybe, but its been up before. Anyways... I adored my trip to Egypt. There is sooooooo much history and culture there, I would do it all again in a heartbeat! Alexandria?? Now, I am envious!! Love to hear all about it and see some pics?
Babs!!!!! Fab to see you, hope all is well? Yes, I am still here but just larking around on the Forums, as you know. I have a new fella and he's a darling..... I am very fortunate. I didn't know men like him existed, its quite a revelation for me!!
Love to hear all your news, darling... drop me a mail, yeah?
RE: Say Something Good!!!!
You got a job to help you get over pneumonia??!! WTF??!!
