Well, I am meeting someone from fairly far away tomorrow!!

He is coming for the extended weekend we are having here. Its early days, of course. So if we don't beat each other up or kill each other and it works out perhaps re-location would need to be looked into. We'll see.....

I feel flexibility is called for, yes. One needs to accommodate another's wishes, feelings.... even habits. I think the important thing is that they tried. Failure is a part of life and being human but to not even try would probably irritate me more than the "habit" itself. And, yes, the reverse would apply, me thinks...

The very essence of your being..... no. But that's not to say one can't be accommodating, flexible and take on board another's feelings, needs, etc.

We live in a very ME, ME, ME culture these days. A little give and take really isn't hard work!

If someone is rigid and inflexible.... they are not really for me.

Hi y'all!!! Yeah, I'm back but didn't get to bed until gone 1am so had less than 4 hours sleep before work..... knackered!! The travelling was a bit of an ordeal but well worth it....

It was fab to meet everyone, new ones for the first time and those I have met before. It was a great trip, hope its not too long before we get together again.....

Yes, I felt the earthquake in my bed (a very long time since that happened!!).... The bed was wobbling all over the place. Terrible news though, seriously, for those caught up in it.

Thanks for the text messages of concern and glad everyone got home safe and sound!
