I have seen "Fitna" which includes a beheading, of course.... it was touch and go as to whether I could watch it all the way through!
No, I don't agree with the death penalty.
1. There have been people whereby even though all the odds have been stacked in favour of them being guilty (the only example I can think of now off the top of my head is Timothy Evans - found guilty of the murders committed by John Christie, though I am in no doubt there are many more) were, in fact..... INNOCENT!!
2. If any of us are to maintain the moral high ground, we must not take a life. Following "due process" is simply a way of legalising exactly the same crime the accused (found guilty? see above). One can justify anything if one really has a mind to.
3. It simply serves to satisfy the "blood-lust" element of the human condition, if you like (its in pretty much all of us, it just depends to what degree?). Maintaining its legal/justice/right/ deserved is merely a way of justifying, yet again..... see above.
That said, if the criminal IS to be incarcerated at the tax payer's expense, it should NOT be in the form of lavishing in a bloody holiday camp!!
What the...?!! Look, I've already told you, love, that you can stay with me and lie low until the dust settles. What's up.... my place not good enough for ya? Well......
I thought we'd discussed this, why go to all this trouble?
Offended doesn't even come close!!! Last time I try and do something for YOU!!
Not a good week For Gordon Brown??!! Thanks to Gordon Brown, its not a good week for anyone!!
Yes, I read all about the Mr Wilders fiasco!! Don't get me started.... there just isn't a soap-box big enough! And, I have seen "Fitna", didn't think, at one point, I could watch it all the way to the end.....
For me to comment further, I would have to consult the advice of my solicitor first, me thinks? At least one day we can tell our grandchildren about that thing that used to be called "Free Speech"?
