SF.... I take on board what you say, of course I do! And.... you know me, so you know I don't mean any offence. But, to be honest, love, you don't display any other approach than the one I have already described. It may not be you personally but that is the drawback with this medium. One cannot assess another's personality, only one's BEHAVIOUR on the Forums..... yeah? How one projects themselves on the Forums is all one has to go by, isn't it? Any misconceptions is not necessarily the fault of the recipient but the poster...... if you cannot make things as clear as possible, it will, no doubt be down to mis-interpretaion?

I do, in fact, think you are a lovely fella, but..... well, I think you MUST know, you come across to the ladies here, if I'm not mistaken as..... someone who just wants to "get his emd away"? Noone can be blamed for that perception other than...

And BTW, I DO get sarcasm.... I am a Brit, for goodness sake!!

Ohh yesss... believe me, it was!! Exciting, exhiliratimg.... a dream job you may say? Wish I hadn't been forced to give it up....

Topping that? Ohhhh, I am under no illusions, there are many that have fought against AND beaten the odds....

My most treasured memories..... not in any particular order, of course:

My childhood, teens and early twenties.
Living in Canada.
My father.
My dogs.
My job organising international offshore powerboat racing events.
My job working for one of the most eminent architects in Europe.
How I have made such amazing headway despite the most gruelling adversity.
The kindness of strangers.... they may never have been met again but they still stick in my mind.
Some of the fantastic people I have come to know via CS, and still hold them in high regard, delightful friends.


I have been up against it BIG TIME but.... I am very fortunate indeed!

4. The death penalty is actually an easy way out for the ciminal. Over.... done and dusted, no further pain, suffering, etc. I do believe that a criminal should be made to pay, in the strongest terms, for their crime. No outside contact, no TV, games, just a bed, bucket and a very basic meal a day, hard labour. They would also have time to reflect on what they had done and atone for it. What does taking their life prove to them? A lot probably don't care about living or want to die anyway. Why give them what they want? Its all about making them suffer, isn't it? Taking away their life doesn't actually do that....

He was facing the death penalty for a crime he didn't commit and decided to be a "crusader" to show how the system often fails. But in order to prove this he had to lose his life....

How ultimately altruistic is that?
