Surely late nights and copious amounts of alcohol can't be good for a professional sportsman subjected to what must be a tough training regime? What does your coach say?!! Bet he's not happy?
I think.... there is your answer?! We don't ALL live by the phrasology of certain belief systems?! What is predominant according to one's culture is what is adopted within that culture. Other cultures may belief differently...... I'm beginning to be puzzled at the difficulty here...?!
As with most major changes, we are in a transition period, I believe.... it won't happen overnight. I'm glad NG stick with the tradition, personally. I am not particularly religious but I'd rather stick with "BC".....
There we differ I guess but I do feel its a useful and interesting thread!!
I don't think the phrasology is based on what the Jewish religion believe? Its is based on Christianity, from what I can gather?
Besides, we are now being discouraged from using BC as in "Before Christ" nowadays. Apparently. it is more PC to use BCE which is "Before Common Era"......
It can be disheartening, I know..... tenacity is often the name of the game. Don't automatically assume its anything to do with you. There have been some positive responses here, I hope you take their input on board?
Take no notice of Tumtum... I have got to know many people here over quite some time and the majority are all only too happy to help where they can. The Forums is a good way of inter-acting and, in turn, it can maximise your chances further.
Ohh, don't worry.... yes, it HAS got to the stage where I AM flattered at getting a card from a dog (guide, or otherwise).... I guess its as good as its gonna get?
I'll just have to bring an Italian stallion back with me, eh?!!
You don't have to be, or do, anything. You wouldn't be fishing for compliments now, would ya? Coz you look delightful to me..... and, to be honest, I like the way you express yourself, love!!
