I am always baffled by this. If a man has an affair, why is it perceived by the wife that he must have been dragged kicking and screaming, why is it always the "other woman" to blame and not him?!!

Yes, a very good (married) friend of my ex came on to me a few times. I made it clear I was ignoring his offers/gestures and he got the message eventually and stopped.

I didn't tell either my ex nor his friend's wife, no. There was no need to upset the apple-cart.

Don't really understand it.... he had a much younger model anyway!!

I agree, I don't like the word "soulmate" either. Its a little different nowadays with people not so inclined to get married and those forging long-standing relationships later in life, but previously people predominantly got married in, say, their 20s. Funny how almost everyone was finding their "soulmate", as they would like to think of it, at about the same sort of age? Its just that they had found the best person for them at that given time. There may have been more suitable partners around the globe but they simply just hadn't met them?

Of course, there are exceptions to every rule....

Yes, if I were to be honest, there is one thing that I would've done differently, given my time again.

Apart from that, I think my conscience is clear.... I have never otherwise (intentionally) done someone a bad turn and I wouldn't dream of it. I am by no means a saint and there's always room for improvement, of course, but...

My belief is that, you may be the "little man" with no clout or status, but we can all either make someone smile or make someone miserable..... why would anyone CHOOSE the latter?!


And..... it is a CHOICE!!
