RE: What are the Catholic's beliefs about salvation?

Errmmm.... Who's "we"? I take it to mean YOU perhaps? Where in my post have I referred to anyone in particular?!
dunno confused

Please re-read.... "a religion..."

I think it was clear that I was alluding to the clergy. Please see Tainogirl's thread for what I was referring to. And, yes, it is evident that the clergy DO, in fact, condone it!!

RE: Goble Goble,Toil, and trouble. How many wiccas do we have on cs?

RE: I was like to know if anyone could get any car or truck of thier wish what it be.

RE: hunting

I agree with Steve and Kitty. No, I am not a strict vegetarian and there is a good reason for that.....

I was vegetarian for a year and it simply did not suit my constitution. In fact, I was very ill as a result..... humans are omnivores, you see. We need, as a rule, vegetation AND meat of some kind. There are those suited to vegetarianism and those who are not. I have tried, my body can't cope. I simply eat as LITTLE meat as I can get away with in order to be healthy.... I don't like it!!

That doesn't mean I would enjoy hunting an animal down for pure entertainment. Killing an animal, in this day and age, for reasons other than pure survival..... its for amusement!!

Two completely different issues.... one does not necessarily need to be vegetarian in order to be opposed to hunting.

cheers

RE: Should women have children if they can not support them properly?

Its a free for all, there is no vetting system for allowing a person to become a parent. Just as there is no criteria for being a Citizen of Planet Earth..... sadly!!
sigh

But I do believe every child has a right to be brought up in a safe, secure and healthy environment, yes....

RE: would you date somebody with dentures?

Yes, why not?! dunno

RE: have you ever met anyone famous?

Yes.

RE: Are you same, online(or more exactly in CS forum) and in real life?

I am not aware of behaving any other way but then we invariably perceive ourselves differenly to how others see us. Therefore, I am perhaps not the best judge. I have met a fair few from the CS Forums, its maybe best to ask them...?

RE: Carols for the Psychiatrically challenged....

Hmmm, good question, Laura. wave One I will ponder and get back to you.

The only stereotype that I DON'T have a problem with its that we are all English Roses over here.....

RE: How Do you feel about open relationships?

I'm sure it has its place for those who are so inclined. I doubt it would work unless it was mutual though I suspect one partner may be somewhat coerced, however subtely...?

But.... not for me, no!

wave

RE: You're married and looking?

There ARE dating sites for married people. I doubt CS are going to accommodate you simply because you can't be bothered to seek them out....?!
dunno

RE: Do you think long distance relationship will work?

Long distance relationships CAN work.... for a time. I'm not sure it would be sustainable for a prolonged period.

Three years is a long time, a lot of life will be happening to both of you in that time.

Whether he loves you or not..... I can't possibly answer that, can I?

Good luck to you!! bouquet

RE: What single song best describes you?

I Am Woman

I am woman, hear me roar
In numbers too big to ignore
And I know too much to go back an' pretend
'Cause I've heard it all before
And I've been down there on the floor
No one's ever gonna keep me down again

Oh yes, I am wise
But it's wisdom born of pain
Yes, I've paid the price
But look how much I gained
If I have to
I can do anything
I am strong (strong)
I am invincible (invincible)
I am woman

You can bend but never break me
'Cause it only serves to make me
More determined to achieve my final goal
And I come back even stronger
Not a novice any longer
'Cause you've deepened the conviction in my soul

Oh, yes, I am wise
But it's wisdom born of pain
Yes, I've paid the price
But look how much I gained
If I have to
I can face anything
I am strong (strong)
I am invincible (invincible)
I am woman

I am woman watch me grow
See me standing toe to toe
As I spread my lovin' arms across the land
But I'm still an embryo
With a long, long way to go
Until I make my brother understand

Oh, yes, I am wise
But it's wisdom born of pain
Yes, I've paid the price
But look how much I gained
If I have to
I can face anything
I am strong (strong)
I am invincible (invincible)
I am woman

Oh, I am woman
I am invincible
I am strong

I am woman
I am invincible
I am strong
I am woman
