Saw snippets of it sporadically.... wasn't that interested really. From the prior hype, it didn't grab me. So, I'm not surprise you were disappointed.
Robbie? Well, he has a boyish, cheeky, impish and mischievous air about him but.... NO!! You are welcome to him, love. Though, I admit, the stuff he has produced has been excellent (with the help of Guy Chambers, of course).
BTW... where was Elvis? He didn't even get a mention!! Ohhh, of course, he's.....
I have intervened, yes. I made the assessment in a nano-second, of course, as to the level of risk to me. Had I felt for one moment that I would be in real jeopardy, I would have taken another course of action, like 'phone the Police. I think it was simply my bravado and my appearing confident that swayed it. Had I appeared more unsure, timid or lacking in confidence, that may have cast a different light on the responses I received.
But, its a fine balance and not always the right approach, I admit.
I think if one is not able to intervene, at least call the Police. Those who do nothing....
"All that is necessary for evil to triumph is for good men to do nothing" (Ack. Tolstoy's "War & Peace"/Edmund Burke).
Those who delight in such incidents, as a form of amusement or entertainment.... I can't describe, they are just the very base of human nature!
As for punishment, its not a crime to NOT do something in this respect (in the UK anyway). Though, I do believe in France its a crime to not go to the aid of someone involved in an RTA.
How about fold them into parcels with slices of strawberries and a little whipped cream inside, then drizzle pretty patterns over the outside in chocolate. Perhaps a dusting of icing suger?
Mind you, what's this.... "ever-obedient" Prince of Wales? That'll be the Prince that makes ridiculous, kack-handed remarks about architecture, when he has absolutely NO effing idea what he's talking about?!!
I used to live in the Rockie Mountains as a child and went to school with many Native North American children.
I have always had the utmost respect for such peoples, and inuits. You have every right to have a great deal of pride about your roots, PB.
I watched them all and enjoyed each and every one. Stunning scenery, that took me back, but also a fab insight into cultures and beliefs that are, sadly, so lacking these days in other "communities"....
There are so many to choose from but, for me, it HAS to be.....
WOMAN!!
If that truly is an insight into the deeper, more sensitive elements of a man's feelings (those that he doesn't normally dare to express?) when he really does love a woman....
Let me at him....!!
I asked my fella to send me a music video, one that I would find the ultimate love song and, yep.... HE GOT IT RIGHT!
