Satan will quote the scriptures but does not understand them...because of a twisted thinking. Those of the same spirit also can not understand even simple things and also those of the false Christainity cannot for the lack of true understanding by those who teach.
Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God. If they are not called they will either be against or teach false.

Not true in all cases. I believe not to obtain Heaven or to stay from Hell......I believe because I do and I wish to obey for the love of rightousness, God and Christ. There is proof for those of understanding....but first is faith.Fear.
To believe God is does not do anything to save. The angels of Satan believe he (GOD) is and are lost. It is the faith in the things he promises and him to perform.

I have noticed that religion is often used as an excuse for bad behavior; people lie, cheat, steal, and molest thy neighbor's child, but god will forgive them in the end because he forgives all.
