well communinists in old russia did not want people to meditate, because, and this is if you beieve in God or not, you will be connected to other minds, for example how can a woman on the west coast bolt up in the middle of the night because someone on the east coast in her family died, how does this information get there?

its ok I will stick up for Elite here because he did say ( most), Im like you though my grandmother who passed away this year at 94 up until the last few weeks of her life could tell you everything in detail of that day & pity help the staff at the nursing home if the forgot because she reminded them.

I'm surprised then. My Dad at 70 could tell you what he ate. But maybe I am wrong and most people as they get older know better than to retain useless knowlege.

No I think you are right , for some of them they arent encouraged to think or use their knowledge. I gave my Nan a notebook once & asked her to write down events in her life when they came to her, it was quite an inciteful read as she was born in 1915 so lived through the depression, WW2 onwards
