for the umpteenth time Mrs. Youngston came to her pastor to tell him, "I'm so scared! Joe says he's going to kill me if I continue to come to your church."
"Yes, yes, my child," replied the pastor, more than a little tired of hearing this over and over. "I will continue to pray for you, Mrs. Youngston. Have faith - the Lord will watch over you."
"Oh yes, he has kept me safe thus far, only....."
"Only what, my child?"
"Well, now he says if I keep coming to your church, he's going to kill YOU!"
"Well, now," said the pastor, "Perhaps it's time to check out that little church on the other side of town."
I know you put that up in fun, but keep in mind that that is a false story. One that never happened. If something like that did happen immediately the pastor would have the police involved. Most likely after the very first threat made toward the womans life. -actually probably way before it if the poastor or others knew that she was being abused.

bettyboop63: ok i shall go stand at the back of the class eh...
no, but it is kinda sad to read that stuff cause I know that alot of people convince themselves of those things about believers in Jesus. Have your fun, but please know the truth. Hopefully you dont convince yourself of things that will lead to the needless oppression of the faithfull.

brandycuba: I have found that there are very few people who believe in God or Jesus on this site, can someone tell me what their reasoning is? Why don't you believe in God, Jesus?

seveneyes: huh? Try Again? Wth are you talking about? In the afterlife we will have conscienceness. We will have intellect, we will have emotions. We will be spiritual beings and not just energy where there is no right or wrong. The kingdom of heave is a place of perfection where there is not wrong or evil, but the fact remains that we will not just turn to energy when we pass on just becuase you theorize it.
I dont beleive that you know of all this first hand, so where are you getting all this knowledge from.
