Hi traffic

Personal;y, I have no issue with the loo lid being down or up.

I do not like it up, but if he leaves it up, then I simply put it down.

And also, as my dad correctly says.

Why should us men always have to touch the loo seat?

And the man has a point.

Well if the truth be known, even as a single male living alone in my own house and everything. I put the lid down, cos it stops monsters escaping! The only time I leave the lid up is when I go out because then if I have a fatal car crash my dogs won't run out of water before someone comes to their rescue. Sad, but true!laugh

See, men are so good at solving problems, are you British?

We are the only nation that set up the RSPCA before the NSPCC.

I like your thinking Traffic, very smart.

Call him sassy, call him.

That is what son's are for, picking up their mother's when they are over the limit.

Call him.

Dilemma over.

Its a nice discussion, because this thread epitomizes this question to its core. I think the greatest dilemma most (not all) women face is making solid decisions especially where issues of relationships are concern. Most of the time women think too much over small things and at times they totally shut down and exppect the man to read their minds. Hey, thats difficult enough - if not crazy, considering that we may not be all that bright....

Now, this is good.

Hello.

Do you think women close down? I do not think it is gender specific, men run to their caves, or to the pub, tell the mates, that have a had a row with the Mrs and that is it.

Women, whilst man is at pub, will, and ladies, I have done it, I am sure many of you have, pick up the telephone and call friend/mother/ sister to pour it all out.
When two people can actually go to each other, and discuss what the problem is between them, then it works.

And that is where the problem for me lies, that is my dilemma, or has been for many years. When the communication dies, it becomes hard and that is when the problems begin.

Communication is the key, and when you both have that, love, trust and all that goes with a relationship, is something that will grow and flourish.

My heart tells me one thing..but this girl is thinking with her head...
No more wearing my heart on my sleeve.

It is great that we girls can do this.. listen to our heads and our hearts..

The male gender seem to think often only with their groin.

But here is a man who is risking life and limb each day flying off the cuff half way across the world to see me at Christmas.

Officer and a Gentleman eat your heart out.

I may have just found mine.

Sommer...the names in the film!!!! Ha,ha!

What more can a girl ask.

I owe him a chance.

If anything Christmas is the perfect time to find out.

Can I handle the LDR...yep if there is something...I am willing to give it a shot.

He certainly is and tells me I am in his future long term plans.

At least I know he will be faithful stuck in that Hell Hole and then he comes home to me.

Shares in kleenex will be needed when he departs back to what he calls a nightmare hell hole.

A holiday has been suggested by hm in an EU country for the spring.

Maybe I have eventually met Mr Romantic and I will treat you like a lady always.

Does anyone know how long it takes to fly from Kuwait to Heathrow?

God the car has no petrol in the tank.........

From Kuwait to Heathrow, is around seven eight hours...

Darling, you just need to go with this, do not read to much into it, just go with it...

Don't think about him being faithful, some people just are and that is it...

You do not owe anyone anything, only yourself and you owe it to yourself to see where this takes you.

And you know what I like about all of this?

That this man is not afraid to tell you.

I think you are going to be just fine...

He is a knight, he is coming with his backpack to see his girl.

Jesus, woman, get some fuel in the tank, ask him for his flight details and be there.

Offer him a shower, bath, he will want that after a long flight.

Cook a meal.

Ask him how he is and that if he wants to talk about it, then you are happy to.

Perhaps, just buy a nice bottle of wine to have with dinner and sit and talk and have some nice food.

He will not be jet lagged, he is three hours ahead, so aside from the travel time, he will be fine. I think.

Come on girl, you can do this.

It is easy, just open your home, make him feel at home, and relax.

The food is taking care of.

The housework can wait till tonight as I will never sleep.

The little Tescos van will bring me some nice wine.

Easy dilemma I know all you gals are great with...

I want to look good for when he walks through the arrivals doors and first glimpses me.

He calls me his cutie.

So what do I wear to pick up a guy from the airport but still look good, not overdressed but a cutie...

And before you suggest Sommer.... I am nice girl so no I will not just be wearing a mac and stilettos!!
