Baby I ain't complainin' so please don't get me wrong Sometimes you're like a puzzle with a couple of pieces gone It's a mighty wild ride that you've been takin' me on
Sometimes I feel like a dog standin' on a toolbox In the back of a pickup truck doin' 90 'round a corner Just tryin' to hang on for dear life
When you had to have a little pink house I said OK When you pulled your Harley up to a church I just prayed My life is like a mobile home in a hurricane
Sometimes I feel like a dog standin' on a toolbox In the back of a pickup truck doin' 90 'round a corner Just tryin' to hang on for dear life
Hangin' on it's what I live to do You know I love this crazy life with you Remember when you quit your job to rodeo Or the time you jumped on stage to sing with the Rolling Stones When you start rockin' I get ready to roll
Sometimes I feel like a dog standin' on a toolbox In the back of a pickup truck doin' 90 'round a corner Just tryin' to hang on for dear life
Sometimes I feel like a dog standin' on a toolbox In the back of a pickup truck doin' 90 'round a corner Just tryin' to hang on for dear life
Baby, you`re the one that melts my heart I swear I`m not lying maybe tonight I`m gonna try my luck I can see that you want me
I`m dreaming about you every night .. every night Kylie give me just a chance let`s go out and dance We can get into the groove I can watch you move Later you can sing to me like a shining star But I rather do you on the backseat of my car
Kylie give me just a chance let`s go out and dance We can get into the groove I can watch you move Later you can sing to me like a shining star But I rather do you on the backseat of my car
Baby, take a minute check me out I sit in the front row Baby I`m the coolest guy in the crowd I`m sure you have seen me I`m dreaming about you every night .. every night
Kylie give me just a chance let`s go out and dance We can get into the groove I can watch you move Later you can sing to me like a shining star But I rather do you on the backseat of my car
Kylie give me just a chance let`s go out and dance We can get into the groove I can watch you move Later you can sing to me like a shining star But I rather do you on the backseat of my car
You drive me crazy You slowly drive me crazy Red blooded Baby Can't get you off my mind I should be lucky I should be so lucky I should be lucky to sleep with you tonight
[Kylie, Kylie, Kylie, Kylie] Kylie give me just a chance let`s go out and dance We can get into the groove I can watch you move Later you can sing to me like a shining star But I rather do you on the backseat of my car
Kylie give me just a chance let`s go out and dance We can get into the groove I can watch you move Later you can sing to me like a shining star But I rather do you on the backseat of my car
Good Ole Boys Like Me {Honestly, how many people know the references made here, they used to actually read Uncle Remus in school down here in Texas.}
When I was a kid Uncle Remus he put me to bed With a picture of Stonewall Jackson above my head Then daddy came in to kiss his little man With gin on his breath and a Bible in his hand He talked about honor and things I should know Then he'd stagger a little as he went out the door
CHORUS: I can still hear the soft Southern winds in the live oak trees And those Williams boys they still mean a lot to me Hank and Tennessee I guess we're all gonna be what we're gonna be So what do you do with good ole boys like me
Nothing makes a sound in the night like the wind does But you ain't afraid if you're washed in the blood like I was The smell of cape jasmine thru the window screen John R. and the Wolfman kept me company By the light of the radio by my bed With Thomas Wolfe whispering in my head
When I was in school I ran with kid down the street But I watched him burn himself up on bourbon and speed But I was smarter than most and I could choose Learned to talk like the man on the six o'clock news When I was eighteen, Lord, I hit the road But it really doesn't matter how far I go
I Believe in You
I don't believe in superstars, Organic food and foreign cars. I don't believe the price of gold; The certainty of growing old. That right is right and left is wrong, That north and south can't get along. That east is east and west is west. And being first is always best.
But I believe in love. I believe in babies. I believe in Mom and Dad. And I believe in you.
Well, I don't believe that heaven waits, For only those who congregate. I like to think of God as love: He's down below, He's up above. He's watching people everywhere. He knows who does and doesn't care. And I'm an ordinary man, Sometimes I wonder who I am.
But I believe in love. I believe in music. I believe in magic. And I believe in you.
Well, I know with all my certainty, What's going on with you and me, Is a good thing. It's true, I believe in you.
I don't believe virginity, Is as common as it used to be. In working days and sleeping nights, That black is black and white is white. That Superman and Robin Hood, Are still alive in Hollywood. That gasoline's in short supply, The rising cost of getting by.
But I believe in love. I believe in old folks. I believe in children. I believe in you.
But I believe in love. I believe in babies. I believe in Mom and Dad. And I believe in you.
Yeah, It's sad. I don't get by as often as I'd like, and with my new job I will be around even less, but I want everyone who I've made friends with to know I'm still around.
Stayed up too late, trying to get my house ready for viewing. Then had to get up much too early to remow the yard so it looked nice. Now I'm at work with 4 hours left to go.
I wander the international forums because there are so few posts here. Why is that? I'd like to meet a nice girl who's within a couple hundred miles from me. But there are so few Texas ladies posting. I know not everyone gets to opportunity to play online like I do, but still, the Texas forums are dead. Looking forward to meeting 'locals'.

Dog on a ToolboxJames Bonamy
Baby I ain't complainin' so please don't get me wrong
Sometimes you're like a puzzle with a couple of pieces gone
It's a mighty wild ride that you've been takin' me on
Sometimes I feel like a dog standin' on a toolbox
In the back of a pickup truck doin' 90 'round a corner
Just tryin' to hang on for dear life
When you had to have a little pink house I said OK
When you pulled your Harley up to a church I just prayed
My life is like a mobile home in a hurricane
Sometimes I feel like a dog standin' on a toolbox
In the back of a pickup truck doin' 90 'round a corner
Just tryin' to hang on for dear life
Hangin' on it's what I live to do
You know I love this crazy life with you
Remember when you quit your job to rodeo
Or the time you jumped on stage to sing with the Rolling Stones
When you start rockin' I get ready to roll
Sometimes I feel like a dog standin' on a toolbox
In the back of a pickup truck doin' 90 'round a corner
Just tryin' to hang on for dear life
Sometimes I feel like a dog standin' on a toolbox
In the back of a pickup truck doin' 90 'round a corner
Just tryin' to hang on for dear life
