RE: Is there life after death?

My belief is . . . We are all energy, we are full of static electricity yes? So what happens that energy when we die, i'd like to see an experiment done on that, cameras that can detect our energy or even just instruments, i'd like to see where it goes, i'm guessing it goes to ground as electricity does, or does it? Video please? laugh

What i think happens is this energy is free to go where it likes, or, where someone or something decides where it is to go, its creator, i believe that if you live a very sinful and evil life then you will be sent on your way into another life, you will be born again, human, animal, who knows, but what i believe is that your new life will be a tortuous one, full of pain and sorrow, however, if you live a good life, you will come back as Brad Pitt or someone laugh Karma, Hell/Heaven, makes sense to me thumbs up

RE: Running with the hounds...

Exactly thumbs up

When your running "with them" its almost like your one of them, one of their gang/pack and yer in it together to catch, well, dinner laugh

I have never eaten fox, i imagine its probably horrible, i don't think wolves would put huge effort into hunting down a fox, too little a reward, it was humans who bred dogs for their own needs, wolfhound, foxhound etc.

RE: Running with the hounds...

I used to run with the hounds, loved it, it awakens a sleeping primeval hunter instinct that lays mostly dormant inside us all, now days though, my feelings towards hunting down a fox (with hounds, for fun) have completely changed, i think its wrong, the "Music"(barking/howling, call it what you will) that the hounds make, still does something to me confused

Purple Rain

No particular reason, just an awesome song IMO.

RE: Classis cars & bikes

^ Opel Manta ireland

RE: Classis cars & bikes

I love bikes, i have a bike but am not really that interested in classic bikes, classic cars . . . perhaps, are these classics yet, i love them, always have thumbs up

RE: the healy raes

This is absolutely hilarious thumbs up

RE: Im writing a book about hitch hikers...

I would never pick up a hitch hiker, those days are gone, obviously if i knew them i would.

I drive for a living, this i have seen so often, one or more gorgeous women with a sign saying Galway or whatever, they stand almost in front of you, then when you don't pick them up and pass them, you notice the man/men 30 meters up the road who had been obscured from view earlier, clever out ladies thumbs up

RE: A weekend in the O6C's............

wow

I'm so glad i'm not living up there, that's all i can say, i have never been and probably never will, the owld knee capping thing would put me off , and even if i did visit, i would be paranoid.com until i got back down south, i do feel for anyone who's caught up in this persistence of violence and hatred by those responsible, apart from the cool accents, i don't see anything else that would make me holiday there anyway, no disrespect intended thumbs up ireland

RE: money or love

A woman with bags of money is a complete turn off for me.

RE: recession

It went on though.

Their grand for certain products, love Lidl chicken nuggets thumbs up

RE: recession

It will be evident when the Lidl's and Aldi's start to thin out and people feel "bigger" than that again, might be a bad thing, i think we have rediscovered our old ways and i like it, not people having less money, just that the snobbery seems to have taken a flight out of the country thumbs up ireland

What the stooory with this new German bank going setting up for biz in Ireland, is this another step towards the end target of direct rule from Berlin i mean Brussels? laugh

Knockout Game!

I would make it my mission in life to hunt you down and destroy you wink

Knockout Game!

I have not heard of this going on in Ireland (yet), pretty disturbing stuff to say the least.

RE: Adoption in Ireland in the 70's

laugh well i heard on the radio, a former nun speaking, she said that a lot of nuns used be mad after the priests so i don't know about that, they used be around though before, say 20 years ago, i would often come across one or two out walking, they were fairly old though so who knows, they may have passed away, are nuns still recruiting, like priests are, however low the numbers, i wonder are they still doing that?

RE: Adoption in Ireland in the 70's

Sorry to hear about their early passing, yes, at least you had good parents, you must hold the reputation of Ireland's adoption system fairly highly so i would imagine?

RE: Adoption in Ireland in the 70's

I can't remember the last time i saw a nun confused

They were often around town, out for a walk or whatever, they seem to have disappeared altogether, yes i'd say it must have been headwrecking stuff for you, knowing that you belong to someone but not knowing what they look like, where they are or why they left you, is it safe to say that you are now living in much happier times?

RE: Adoption in Ireland in the 70's

My mother used tell me as a child, that if didn't behave she would have me adopted or sent off in a crate to Ethiopia, it worked, i behaved, in hindsight she was obviously joking, it must have been a constant, daily thought for you when you were growing up, wondering who your parents were?

RE: Limerick where to party ?

Shocking!

Doesn't seem to stop the Cork lasses making their way up here to feel the "real" Munster experience inside this gem tongue

Plus i believe we have this comfort

RE: Limerick where to party ?

Turn the radio up!

RE: Limerick where to party ?

Check it out sometime, there's this buzz about the place, like everyone's in great form and smiling, laughing and joking, which is a welcome relief from what one would experience on a night out in my local town!

RE: Limerick where to party ?

There was the Trinity Rooms, also the Voodoo rooms i think, but that was before i started to go out there as often as i do now, i'm not actually from the city so i can only get in there the odd time, always, absolutely always enjoy it, the talent does be mighty altogether, will hit it one of the nights before Christmas, pretty much guaranteed a snog!
