Hmm, if i had no work then i'd sleep 7-8 hours no problem but trying to fit everything into one day has me trying to get by on 4 hours, 5 if i'm lucky, make up for it come the wk end though, there was a time when i would always get 8 hours sleep a night or very close to it, it must be age related

I like this "Militia" idea, yes, 1 million trained and armed civilians, ready to react is quite a force to be reckoned with, so long as we don't just get nuked

Then again, Switzerland is still officially a neutral country so i suppose we could remain that way too, how would our friends across the Irish sea react to our militia though, any thoughts?

Your missing the point, the point is if we have no military then we are open to attack, by anyone!

I have gone off topic here, i didn't mean that having soldiers back on the streets of N.I. would do any good, i'm on about the republic, keep our military and build it up, it would still be a small army but a deterrent to many.

As for orange men coming out to celebrate a victory that took place hundreds of years ago then let them, it's dying out anyway. The way things are going the Catholics and Protestants will be outnumbered by the atheists and other religions in a few of decades. Much like what is happening here down south.

Yes, we do. Unless the whole world turns into hippies, then yes, we certainly do need a military and if i was in government i would increase our military and make every spotty teenager serve at least 1 year in the armed forces. Just my opinion.

I couldn't believe it when i heard it, it's like we haven't even had a summer yet and after Fri. the days will be getting shorter and the nights longer, should i be happy or sad . . .

When would probably be the best one to know, that way you could be damn sure to enjoy every last day you have and take out a huge loan and party party party

Knowing how you are going to die would make the rest of your life so paranoid that you could end up not leaving the house or going on crazy experimental diets, drugs etc. in order to try to change the reasons for your death, which you already know, so it would be just a living hell.

In my opinion people start asking themselves that question when they have too much free time on their hands, that time could be spent doing the things you enjoy and/or else getting stuck into some training course that will help you on your journey to that "better" place in life that you want to reach

Na, we all have our basic preferences i guess, as for how to meet someone, i think that there's a lot of truth in what some say society has changed into, how people don't "talk" anymore, i especially notice this anytime i frequent the big smoke or any city really, say hello to someone as you pass them at the doorway and you might as well have saluted the door as you'd have gotten the same reply, nothing!

Think about it, were on here instead of socially interecting with other people technology is partly to blame, can you imagine what it will be like for the newer generations, i dread to think

Alcohol is a depressant drug, if i consume alcohol i will have a high, the day/s after i can feel depressed but that varies, if it was a great night out then i wouldn't be anyway depressed, i think it affects everyone the same.

Not enough options in the poll, it sounds like i'm been asked have i ever been depressed, as in have i been suitable for hospital and counselling type depressed, no, never been that bad thankfully.

My advice to people who do suffer from depression would be to stay the hell away from alcohol because your just adding fuel to the fire
