Lets see.... well there was the time I went on a date to a restaurant and the place was held up... had to lie on the floor for over an hour covering our heads.....
Then there was the girl who came over for dinner to meet my father, and was sprinkling pot in the spaghetti sauce....
Oh yes... then there was the girl who had such an obsession that after our daytime date came back to the house that evening, while I was entertaining a work collegue supervisor..... I had tickets to a sporting event and she sat down in the driveway behind his car and refused to let us leave.... I had to call the police.... My relationship with my work collegue really took a blow on that one......
Well this day and age that doesn't matter either....

I don't agree.... the forums are ok... but not for meeting anyone...unless you are just drop dead gorgeous, or you are here 24/7 and become part of the "popular" crowd... even then, from some of the posts I read, it may not help either.... If you decide to post in the forums, I found the best way to expedite your popularity is to constantly refresh your computer and be first to post on EVERY thread....even if its just with an emoticon... it gets your name out there... gives you a kind of familiarity and recognition that people see constantly........ Remember though: Your forum posts NEVER go away... so watch what you write...
If you want to post your personal thoughts, use the blog.... at least you can pull it if you want.... anytime.... Sometimes our midsets do change over time, and things you wrote a year ago dont reflect your feelings now..... with a blog it goes away when you want it to.....
Anything you write here helps women get a feel for who you are... especially those who are not posting on the forums.... the majority of people on this site DO NOT post here.... theres a large pool of them, so if you are serious about meeting someone, use your flowers, and email, then even the IM.... in that order.... ALOT of women do not want you to come up to them on IM and say hello like you would anywhere else... you have to go through an elaborate jumping through hoops cyber style to get that opportunity...
Personally... I like women willing to take a chance... but its funny, alot of women think they are at personal risk or something, and wont answer an IM... the type of woman I am interested in will... (see... i'm even building on my own resume as I write this... )
These are just my own personal observations, and do not necessarily reflect anyone elses experiences nor opinions... just my own.....
A dating site is all you make it.... for the good or bad...... POF has alot to offer regardless of what the "rules" might be.... Rules are made to be bent or broken.... thats my attitude... As for the policies, find a way around them... If your stranded on a deserted island, are you not going to eat because you dont like seafood? You'll make it work....lol
I say take the ball and run with it, as far as you can go, dont worry about what anyone else thinks says or does.... find a nitch... there are always stones to be uncovered... but most of all, have fun, enjoy every moment you can, and make the most out of the dating sites... live life to the fullest.......

Its best to discuss the possible senarios at the earliest possible time... to decide whether a relationship is even feasible..... If you are rooted in a business and can't move there, well that takes care of that, and if the other person is vested in a career that is taking care of their personal situation and can't move either, than that takes care of that....
You have to be together for a normal relationship to proceed... there are differant relationships that can develope with emails, phones and webcams, but in reality, I think they are short term fixes... people need to be together physically eventually....
So.... the point is, SOMEBODY has to move, and if neither one can, than it needs to be discussed so there are no unnecessary expectations that can result in emotional stress....
