All that dirty fracking in US and Canada has an impact on it, but unfortunately it is last bottle of champaign of the oil era. It will be interesting to see what the global energy situation is like in 10 years.

Well if your parents looked after you when you were incapable (i.e. when you were a baby) then it would be nice to return the favor to them if you can.
Back in the auld days of the 90s when you went to a disco there was a finite number of people and maybe just one that you would fancy. You had make an effort that required courage and bravery within a short time window if you wanted to succeed and rejection was a killer. That's when men who lived on one side of the road ended up marrying women who lived on the other side of the road.
The whole online thing is millions of people (most of whom like going to the cinema) so there is a swarm of sameness. Technology takes away the effort and the opportunity for people to be individual. So if you get refused by one it's not a big deal as there are millions more (like telephone poles passing you by on the road). Apathy takes over and the end result is that you remain alone.
Depends on the pub. I like pubs with some character that are not overly crowded or too loud where you can talk easily and there is nice (live) music in the background. I'm not a fan of nightclubs full of drunk people (kids) falling around to thumping loud music (noise).
The there is a subtle advantage to keeping with glasses in that they protect your eyes from UV and reduce wrinkles around the eyes keeping you naturally younger looking.
Would make no difference to me. I would be more worried by people who are related to each other getting married like what goes on in the backward GAA parishes of Ireland.
I mean if I married a woman who already had a lot stuff before we met then if we got divorced I would not expect 50% of that from her only 50% of what we created since we got married.
That's what I mean. The Libyans wanted the dictator out and when they did the Libyans were lost and could not govern themselves and now are thumping the crap out of each other. The best thing the west could do now is just to keep Isis contained within Iraq and Syria and deport any Isis supporter from countries outside of the region. e.g. the Europeans who are supporting Isis should be kicked out and never let back.
It would be good to get rid of Isis and the Asad regime at the same time but the sad thing is that these countries are too back in the dark ages to handle western style liberation and so they end up going mental on themselves anyway... just take a look at Libya for example.
