The U.S. is a melting pot of people from every country on this planet. To hate the U.S. is to hate everyone on the planet. I myself am a mixture of at least 6 different nationalities; all from Europe. Americans know how to get along with anyone and everyone. To lump all 300 million plus Americans into one group and hate us just because you don't like the fact that our govt plays world police is asinine. Perhaps the E.U. should step up and try and generate stability in regions of the world they'd rather not be associated with.
The future I fear is the one where 50% (or more) of the money I make goes to paying off the $800 billion stimulous. And also for paying for free loaders. I know I didn't start the anti-Obama thread, but I am in the 18-36 age group. And I also have to live in the country that's getting the "social safety net" over haul.
Obama didn't win by a landslide. Don't talk about things you don't fully understand until you get both sides of the story. And just because Obama feels the need to apologize to the rest of the world and likes to blame Bush for all of Americas woes doesn't make it true.
Easy for a Canadian to say when he isn't the one who is going to have his taxes raised to pay for this incredible amount of new debt stacked on top of Bush's incredible amount of debt.
Obama uses a teleprompter because he is just a talking head. He doesn't have enough experience to actually know wtf he's talking about so the liberals just tell him to read what they've prepared.
I see a lot of people on this thread claiming that republicans are all religious extremests, yet the ones who call them that are probably the ones who aren't religious at all. I'm not religious at all, but I respect everyone's individual rights to their own beliefs. Why do liberals always find it acceptable to kill unborn babies and allow gay people to marry, yet unacceptable for others to have a belief in a higher being and strong family values? Why is it acceptable for Obama to appoint Kathleen Sebelius as the Director of HHS, yet she supports late term abortions? Why is it acceptable to leave our boarders wide open for 10's of thousands of illeagle immigrants to stream across the boarder and take jobs away from Americans who pay taxes, but it's not acceptable for Miss California to say she believes in Traditional marriage other wise she's called a homophobe?
Yeah but Bush could just use the "inherited terrorism" cop out like Obama is doing now. And I'm pretty sure that North Korea didn't wait until Clinton was out of office to start making nuclear weapons. Take the blinders off, you turkey!
