I think it was the time I set that trap for Santa Claus. If mom hadn't seen what I was doing, someone that night would have had a real bad night when they sprung the trap
Understandable, accidents changes lives. The only thing I would ask is that you not be aboard with someone who drives fast and recklessly. No need of looking for a accident.
Merc, you have things in hand. You seem to have really good control over your life and I hope it always stays that way.
You didn't know at the time you would be well now. There will be lots of opportunities for a vacation. Right now, focus on yourself and getting over your fears of cars. I am happy that you are getting that looked into, therapy is nothing to be afraid of, in the end, it will make your life better.
I treat dating sites as entertainment. Not interested in politics and stuff, have no interest in trolling anyone, my only interest is to chat and get to know a few people.
I spent the first 30 years of my life being afraid of stuff until I got on a medication for it. I don't have to tell you how crippling it is to be afraid all the time. This will change your life
I highly recommend a mixer/amp that can record. They are becoming more common, just push a button and your session is recorded. Most mixers these days have usb that you can run to your pc and you can set up a program on your pc to record but its a process to do it compared to just pushing a button on your mixer and bang, its all running. If/when I need to replace my mixer, it is definitely going to have built in recording.
Its like riding a bike, may be a little rusty at first but it will come back and faster than you think. Music is the ultimate stress reliever, nothing I love more to do than to put on something bass heavy (metal, dance, whatever), wind up the volume on my pa system and make the room shake and dance. Broke a (heavy) bong once from high volume, it was sitting on the desk but the vibration from the music made it shake its way to the edge and fall off, broke a few mugs as well like it
I'm sure you will find plenty of music from POTO on youtube to play along with.
This is a site I use off and on if I want a custom backing track, you have to pay for the song but once you bought the song, you can go back and change it and redownload it again and again.
I have never used them live, its not the same as having the full band on stage. Problem I got is that I live in a small place and there are not a lot of musicians around here who have the time to be in a band. What I been toying with lately is taking those backing tracks and instead of doing regular karaoke where you get on stage alone, I'll call it live karaoke and I'll be onstage jamming along with whoever wants to get up. Gives whoever is getting up to sing a taste of jamming at least with one other person.
The full band is the best, no argument at all. I miss it.
Your 100% right. If you need one to stay on time, you don't have the ear for it. I never owned one in my life.
Having said that, a perfect digital backing track to jam with can help you tighten your timing more and keeps you in check. Locally, I am known for my (near) perfect timing but the backing tracks helped me tighten it even more. These days the only jamming I'm doing is with backing tracks lol
If you are looking for a backing track for whatever instrument you play, just go to youtube, type in the song plus backing track. Most popular songs are there and its free. Great for practice when no one is around to jam with.
So, I got a toothache today :/ My buddy was just here and fortunatly he is like a walking medicine cabinet so he gave me something good for it. I'm going on a rocket ship ride, but its calmed the tooth down nicely
