Horrible, shocking, disgraceful, and it happens to so many people. Doctors prescribe you addictive pills and then take them from you forcing you to go to other sources because that nasty addiction don't go away. Its really not your fault, your doctor done this to you. I know so many people who were ruined because of doctors
I listened to a online radio show one day where the host has BP1. He told us a story about how he stopped taking his meds and end up on a manic high swing and when he crashed, he was on the other side of the country (America), he spiraled into a dark pit, his family had to track him down and get him home where he end up in the hospital and back on his meds again. BP is a serious illness that requires treatment and monitoring.
Years ago I outed myself here one day with having mental illness. After that, I had less than half the friends I had the day before. It was a good thing though because I knew then who had my back and who didn't. I always out myself wherever I go because of that reason. Because of my own problems in the past, I got a soft spot for "misfits" and strays. I like swapping stories with others and getting their insights on mental health.
Op, I don't think you are going to have much luck here, you can see what you are dealing with here. My advice to you would be to look for a more inclusive place and I think I will do the same.
I understand it. In my case, I have it under control with medications and therapy. Often though people have those conditions that are not well controlled and I do know what comes with that. Some people have mental illness and have no idea they have it and refuse treatment when confronted. Its a messed up area of medicine.
Another thing. Anger is unattractive, really unattractive. I been single since god knows when, I have mental health issues too and understand exactly the frustration you are feeling. Its no good to let it anger you though because like I said, its really unattractive to women. Take it in stride, maybe check out some support groups for your affliction. You can make good friends there and though its not for dating, it do happen.
