If I said something wrong I could never let it go. It would eat at me until I explained myself to the person who misunderstood.

You hit on something Merc. The tone. We can't show tone on a computer screen. People often misunderstand what someone says because they can't hear our tone. If the person is in a bad mood to begin with they might read something in a negative way.

If I was as strong as Merc is I would have put that guy down on the ground. I don't promote violence but there are some things that make me really angry.

Some men don't find it acceptable for a woman to have an opinion least of all to complain.

If they allowed women to have an opinion they would lose the idea that women are equal to men. Men just ain't gonna have that. They believe they were born to be superior to all females.

Well, that doesn't float my boat.

Women know when a man is seriously making a snarky comment because he hates women and we know when he's just being flirty.

There are men on here that I truly believe like women. I won't name them. I'm glad they are here.

The ones who find it necessary to use foul language and make an attempt to attack a woman are the ones who usually leave CS and then come back with a different name thinking they are turning over a new leaf but the real personality always comes out.

I enjoy men because they know and I know that I'm not looking for a partner. It's nice to laugh WITH a man or to joke when you know he won't think you are hitting on him.

Merc, the title of the thread is "What makes YOU a good catch". It doesn't say why should men stay away from you.

I have flaws and I'm not afraid to mention them. My flaws are just as important as the positive side of me, maybe more important I'll wait for Lee to write that thread.

There are several things that make me a good catch. Each one is synonymous with the other.

Loyalty, Trustworthy and Generosity

They all roll into one thing that can only be proven over time and that is Honesty.

Mafia Commission trial
In the Mafia Commission Trial, which ran from February 25, 1985, through November 19, 1986, Giuliani indicted 11 organized crime figures, including the heads of New York's so-called "Five Families", under the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act (RICO) on charges including extortion, labor racketeering, and murder for hire. Time magazine called this "Case of Cases" possibly "the most significant assault on the infrastructure of organized crime since the high command of the Chicago Mafia was swept away in 1943", and quoted Giuliani's stated intention: "Our approach is to wipe out the five families." Gambino crime family boss Paul Castellano evaded conviction when he and his underboss, Thomas Bilotti, were murdered on the streets of Midtown Manhattan on December 16, 1985. However, three heads of the Five Families were sentenced to 100 years in prison on January 13, 1987. Genovese and Colombo leaders, Tony Salerno and Carmine Persico received additional sentences in separate trials, with 70-year and 39-year sentences to run consecutively. He was assisted by three Assistant United States Attorneys: Michael Chertoff, the eventual second United States Secretary of Homeland Security and co-author of the Patriot Act; John Savarese, now a partner at Wachtell Lipton Rosen & Katz; and Gil Childers, a later deputy chief of the criminal division for the Southern District of New York and now managing director in the legal department at Goldman Sachs.

According to an FBI memo revealed in 2007, leaders of the Five Families voted in late 1986 on whether to issue a contract for Giuliani's death. Heads of the Lucchese, Bonanno, and Genovese families rejected the idea, though Colombo and Gambino leaders, Carmine Persico and John Gotti, encouraged assassination. In 2014, it was revealed by former Sicilian Mafia member and informant, Rosario Naimo, that Salvatore Riina, a notorious Sicilian Mafia leader, had ordered a murder contract on Giuliani during the mid-1980s. Riina allegedly was suspicious of Giuliani's efforts prosecuting the American Mafia and was worried that he might have spoken with Italian anti-mafia prosecutors and politicians, including Giovanni Falcone and Paolo Borsellino, who were both murdered in 1992 in separate car bombings. According to Giuliani, the Sicilian Mafia offered $800,000 for his death during his first year as mayor of New York in 1994.

I think Molly is trying to say that you need to tell him what goes through your mind when you think of him.

Such as, when you think about him do you say to yourself.....I don't want to deal with this anymore.

Do you say to yourself.........I'm really not interested in him

Do you say to yourself.........I wish I could tell him that I'm moving on to look for someone else.

If you said to him all three thoughts or just the one that you are moving on you might make an impression.

If worse comes to worse, change your phone number.

You are a softy Tule. That's not a bad thing.

Now it's time to show that you care enough about him as a human being by letting him know that there is no place for him in your life.

I've done what Chesney suggested ..... made him think it was his idea to not go any further and it works well

I've done what Irish suggested...... say thank you for coffee/lunch but this isn't going to work. They never put up a fuss because they knew we didn't connect.

However, in a relationship with someone we were having a hard time making it work so after a couple years I said we needed to end it. He wanted to be friends but I said no. It didn't make sense to be friends with someone you were intimate with. We left it at that but because of some medical issues he has I called him one day to see how he was. That went okay so I called him about every 3 or 4 months for a year.

After awhile I decided that the phone calls to him weren't necessary anymore because his health issue was under control and I told him I wasn't going to call again. He fought my decision and didn't understand why I wanted to stop calling him. I could have left a voicemail that I wasn't going to call anymore but I thought he deserved the respect to tell him myself. I know why he wanted me to keep calling but it's not important to mention it here. If it wasn't for his medical issue I wouldn't have called him the first time

Thanks for trying I made sure before I wrote the thread that I had counted correctly cause I know there would be one or two guys trying to prove me wrong.

The drop that I put in three times a day really did sting. It was an anti inflammatory
The other drops were a steroid and an antibiotic
So glad I'm done with that

There's no way that could happen with these drops because one of them burns like hell
Also, I had a chart. I would show it to you but I don't know how to transfer a picture from my phone to my computer.

Yes you could block them but then they came back in another thread and attacked you.

They used to have the thumbs up and down on here too. That failed.

They also had red and green thingies to show you were in favor of the thread. Another failure.

I think the format now is the best I've seen in all the years I've been here.

The change I would like is to move the Delete button in email from the bottom to the top of the page.
