You hit on something Merc. The tone. We can't show tone on a computer screen. People often misunderstand what someone says because they can't hear our tone. If the person is in a bad mood to begin with they might read something in a negative way.
Back in the day when a woman complained about something men would say......she's on the rag. Maybe they still say it
If I was as strong as Merc is I would have put that guy down on the ground. I don't promote violence but there are some things that make me really angry.
Some men don't find it acceptable for a woman to have an opinion least of all to complain.
If they allowed women to have an opinion they would lose the idea that women are equal to men. Men just ain't gonna have that. They believe they were born to be superior to all females.
Women know when a man is seriously making a snarky comment because he hates women and we know when he's just being flirty.
There are men on here that I truly believe like women. I won't name them. I'm glad they are here.
The ones who find it necessary to use foul language and make an attempt to attack a woman are the ones who usually leave CS and then come back with a different name thinking they are turning over a new leaf but the real personality always comes out.
I enjoy men because they know and I know that I'm not looking for a partner. It's nice to laugh WITH a man or to joke when you know he won't think you are hitting on him.
Merc, the title of the thread is "What makes YOU a good catch". It doesn't say why should men stay away from you.
I have flaws and I'm not afraid to mention them. My flaws are just as important as the positive side of me, maybe more important I'll wait for Lee to write that thread.
He's not afraid now probably because bigger threats were put out on his life when he held very high positions in law enforcement in the City of New York.

However, in a relationship with someone we were having a hard time making it work so after a couple years I said we needed to end it. He wanted to be friends but I said no. It didn't make sense to be friends with someone you were intimate with. We left it at that but because of some medical issues he has I called him one day to see how he was. That went okay so I called him about every 3 or 4 months for a year.
After awhile I decided that the phone calls to him weren't necessary anymore because his health issue was under control and I told him I wasn't going to call again. He fought my decision and didn't understand why I wanted to stop calling him. I could have left a voicemail that I wasn't going to call anymore but I thought he deserved the respect to tell him myself. I know why he wanted me to keep calling but it's not important to mention it here. If it wasn't for his medical issue I wouldn't have called him the first time

The drop that I put in three times a day really did sting. It was an anti inflammatory The other drops were a steroid and an antibiotic So glad I'm done with that
I know what you mean. If you aren't sure you do it again. There's no way that could happen with these drops because one of them burns like hell Also, I had a chart. I would show it to you but I don't know how to transfer a picture from my phone to my computer.
