Go back to page 223 and watch the link.

Remember those days?

RE: Of all of the ( ( (FISH IN THE SEA) ) ) What makes YOU a good catch?

That's not fair tongue

But the answer is Giants cause Riggins has retired. I think he's in New York in a publishing company or something like that.

When I lived in Virginia my license plate was...........GO RIGO giggle

RE: Of all of the ( ( (FISH IN THE SEA) ) ) What makes YOU a good catch?

Correction.....He was a Skins fan, not a Giants fan

RE: Of all of the ( ( (FISH IN THE SEA) ) ) What makes YOU a good catch?

I lived in Virginia for three years. When I moved there I didn't know anything about football.

The person I was living with was a Giants fan so he taught me about football and of course it would be when the Skins were playing

It was easy for me cause I fell in love with John Riggins.....#44.....Running Back

Then I moved back to NJ and still rooted for the skins but the rivalry was so hot between the Skins and Giants that I had to pick a favorite.

Call me fickle laugh

RE: "So You think You want to be a Farmer, Huh?

Well that puts a damper on you and I shacking up giggle

I love the cold weather and is what I miss most about NJ

Down here in North Carolina the humidity is so bad in the summer that those disgusting bugs are around the contents of my garbage can cause the flies go for the food in the plastic bag.

Whether it's summer or winter my "grass" which is basically green twigs growing out of sand/dirt looks awful. I'm used to a dark green lawn that I had in NJ sad

Today is quite cold down here.

I'm not a good catch.

Even Cranky wouldn't want me moping

RE: Desktop

I use a desktop. The angle of the keys on a laptop is very different than on a desktop. Every job I ever had I used a desktop so it's difficult for me to get used to holding my hands above the keys on a tablet compared to on an angle on a desktop.

I have a lot of trouble even texting and have to use a stylus. You can imagine how long it takes me to text "See you later" laugh

RE: "So You think You want to be a Farmer, Huh?

I was just about to tell you the page number where Larry said Bessie had died.

Those of us who care about Larry, like you and many others know that Larry did his best to help her.

RE: Say Anything

That was 1975. Almost 50 years. There's something about having a child with someone. It's a bonding experience unlike a relationship of just a man and a woman.

If I could ask for anything it would be for him to be alive to see how his daughter grew up to be a beautiful woman who has led a productive life. Just one more day.....

RE: Say Anything

I took it for granted that my ex-husband would be around for a long time. After all he was only 45 years old.
But then one day his mother called me and said "Bob is gone"
I said, gone where
She I've been calling him and he didn't answer so I went to his house and found him dead on the floor

I've never been shocked by anything since then, not even Sept. 11th
And I still think and feel the absolute sadness of losing him

sad

Melania's Classy Christmas Decorations In The White House

So what. He's a billionaire. He can afford to do it. You don't like it. That's okay. I love it. I think it's magnificent. I like rich giggle

The Democratic National Committee spent an average $1 million every year of President Barack Obama’s second term for social events at the White House during November and December — money mostly spent on catering, food and beverages, according to filings reviewed by ABC.

RE: Hot Rods and Motorcycles

RE: NON-POSTERS~Come Out of The Woodwork, Part 3

Sounds like you believe that there are cliques on here when you say "12 people go on endlessly glad-handing with very little substance." They're not cliques Mr. Apollo. They are people who are on the same wave length at that time. Catch them a different day and they will be very different people.

When I joined it was by mistake. I was looking for a site for penpals. Somehow I clicked on CS and saw all these people writing back and forth to each other. I thought it was great but little did I know what really was going on in the threads.

One day I got the nerve to respond to a thread when a guy wrote the word testicular. I was shocked and embarrassed. I would never use that word in public. (That was in 2006 when I joined.) I scolded the guy for using that word and oh boy did I get attacked by other members. And they went at me full barrel.

My hero stepped out of the woodwork and saved me. His name is Vinnie. He spent a lot of time trying to make people see that I wasn't a troll. When I joined my name was Snuggle. People called me Snuggs. Vinnie convinced people that anyone who joined a dating site with the name Snuggle wasn't all bad.

It took a long time before I posted again. Vinnie defending me was all I needed to write a thread. The thread I wrote was about a mother, father and two sons. The young son was favored by the father. The older son couldn't stand it that his brother won their parents love and so he took a shotgun and killed the younger son. The father said the only way he could go on with his life was to give forgiveness to his older son. Members posted on that thread. There were a lot of opinions of what should have happened.

The point I'm making is it takes more than writing a few posts to feel like you belong. Perhaps if you write a thread giving people a chance to respond to you it might make you see that you are one of the pack. wine

RE: Cover versions of classic songs..

You and me both. I'm doing some long term planning to move back to NJ. It's home.

If we were in NJ now we'd be freezing our butts off yay and playing in the snow yay I miss the snow so much.

Maybe you could stay around for awhile. Ya know a day on ....a day off.....that's how to stay sane when you're a member of CS

laugh

RE: Cover versions of classic songs..

OMG, Ms. Cellan is here. Haven't seen you in a long, long time. Welcome back dancing
