Are you interested in going to a gym to work out? You'll not only work your body but also your brain which will give you confidence that you are a worthwhile person. You don't need to be a body builder just use it as an activity to improve your attitude and create self-esteem.

Hiya Gal Yep, I've noticed this too but nowadays, patient information is kept on computers rather than in thick paper files but that shouldn't take away from the patient doctor experience. My doctor does spend time discussing everything and manages well with inputting information into the computer as he goes along and I like that. I went to a different clinic yesterday and there was barely a word spoken....just tapping away at the computer, writing a few chicken scratch instructions and barely spoke two words to me. Needless to say, I left that clinic feeling more confused and anxious than I was when I first arrived.[/quote]




You also said that you felt rushed when you got there. This and making you more confused and anxious when you got there tells me it isn't the right medical facility for you and I would be very cautious about taking any medical suggestions they gave you.

Usually rumors are started because of envy or jealousy such as yesterday when someone wrote a thread making negative comments about the Do You Remember thread. I wrote the DYR thread and it didn't bother me that a few tried to trash it. I always look at the source of negative comments and make my conclusion that they are living up to who they really are.

Other types of rumors are meant to be entertaining sometimes with comedy other times with hurtful comments. If it's a rumor there's nothing to believe because a fact wasn't presented to prove that it's true. The normal thing for to do is let it take it's own course and turn my back on it. I wouldn't go out of my way to fact check a rumor.

No, that's not true. It is not better to regret something you did than something you didn't do.

If you said something to someone that caused them to take drastic steps you will live with that the rest of your life. You planted a seed that you can never take back. There are several stories in the news where people coaxed someone to take their own life. One of them the person is in jail and probably regretting what they did.

A member wrote a thread a day or two ago that he regrets never following up to ask her girl in high school for a date and now she is married with two children. He regrets not asking her but his action didn't cause her to do anything that would make a negative mark on her life. He will get over it.
