Back in early 60's we were already carryin 22's n' shotguns to school in the first grade; had an archery and gun range in the school yard,,,we had to walk to school back then, snakes and gators everywhere.
Then we were playing with dry rocket propellant by the third grade, strapping engines to model airplanes fueled by gasoline engines, not to mention all the staged rockets we played with...what was Not to like about school back then.
By high school we were building radio's from scratch,building racing engines, n' welding/building the wildest trick cars you ever saw from all the junk cars dragged to school.
Today; any teachers teaching kids this stuff would be fired... And any kids learning what we learned would be considered JR terrorists...
