He dedicated each movement to a friend of his that died in World War 1.

Turmeric prevents cancer according to the American Cancer Society. So does cinnamon and certain fruits and vegetables. However it does not reverse cancer. I have 3 jars of vlasic stackers long sliced pickles in my cupboard and several jars of pickle juice and pickle peels in my refrigerator. I turn the peels into relish for tuna salad and I put 2 tablespoons of pickle juice on each slice of whole wheat honey bread I use for sandwiches. I also use pickle juice to make honey or spicy mustard dill salad dressing mixed with olive oil mayo.

The super WalMart I go to is open 24/7 and only closes for Christmas.

RE: What made you laugh today?

It was a series about a rich royal family in England with many workers like maids and butlers on Public Broadcasting (PBS). Now the ending will be a movie in movie theaters. Some of the stories are based on true stories of this home.

Turmeric and paprika with a hint of garlic. More of a very small amount of spice paste than juice.

RE: Family Dollar......Dollar General......Dollar Tree Stores

Great Value (a WalMart generic brand) makes a sliced processed chicken called rotisserie chicken made with garlic and herbs and spices like paprika and turmeric. Two pounds cost less than 6 dollars. I use 2 slices a day for lunch with olive oil mayo and 2 long pickle slices. It lasts me almost a month and comes in a ziplock resealable package. They also make smoked turkey and regular turkey with zero fat in this form.

RE: Family Dollar......Dollar General......Dollar Tree Stores

I live near a super WalMart and can find cheaper prices than Dollar Tree except for stereo earbuds. I can buy individual pies for .50 cents. I like the sweet potato pie made from Patti LaBelle's family recipe. These are real pies with regular pie crust in a small pie tin not like those terrible McDonald's style pies that they sell at SaveALot (apple, cherry, or chocolate) for the same price. WalMart also have pumpkin, apple, blueberry, and pecan pies as well as little individual cakes including red velvet cake. The Dollar Tree is one of 4 stores that occupy what was the old regular WalMart. An Aldi's will be opening in there soon right next door to Dollar Tree.

RE: Family Dollar......Dollar General......Dollar Tree Stores

On July 28, 2014, Dollar Tree announced that it would buy Family Dollar for $8.5 billion. The sale delivered a windfall to the company's biggest shareholder Carl Icahn, who acquired his 9.4 percent stake in June 2014.

RE: Family Dollar......Dollar General......Dollar Tree Stores

In the little town I grew up in NYS there is no more supermarket but there is a Dollar General and a CVS. CVS is very expensive and you need a CVS card to get sales prices. The Dollar General is a god send for the poor people that live in that town.

The town I now live in Florida has 2 Dollar Trees and several Dollar Generals and a couple of Family Dollars which I think was bought out by Dollar Tree recently. I buy my stereo earbuds for the computer at Dollar Tree where everything is a dollar or 2 for a dollar. My Father used to joke while waiting for the register at Dollar Tree yelling "Price check on isle 3!!!"

RE: Is it too late to save our Earth.

Even without climate change there are changes in the ecologic system of earth. The honey bee population is going down due to a certain chemical used to kill weeds made by Monsanto. Without the honey bee we would be without honey and many plants that humans use. This can be changed. Remember when a certain bug spray chemical used to kill mosquitoes almost wiped out the eagle population. We removed that chemical and they are now flourishing.

Due to certain dry countries using reverse osmosis to make drinking water from sea water, the seas are getting saltier and this can drastically change the ecology of the sea and eliminate some sea life. This can be changed. Our oceans are being over fished and some sea life could disappear due to it. Many animals are on the endangered list due to humans. They say there are only a thousand bactrian camels (with 2 humps) left on the earth.

RE: Do You Remember The Y2K Frenzy?

RE: Daily Chuckle ...

An old man calls his son and says, "Listen, your mother and I are getting divorced. Forty-five years of misery is enough."

"Dad, what are you talking about?" the son screams.

“We can't stand the sight of each other any longer,” he says. "I'm sick of her face, and I'm sick of talking about this, so call your sister and tell her," and he hangs up....

Now, the son is worried. He calls his sister. She says, "Like hell they’re getting divorced!" She calls their father immediately. "You’re not getting divorced! Don't do another thing. The two of us are flying home tomorrow to talk about this. Until then, don't call a lawyer, don't file a paper. DO YOU HEAR ME?” She hangs up the phone.

The old man turns to his wife and says, "Okay, they’re both coming for Christmas and paying their own airfares.
