I basically agree with your definition as I feel the same way but people can get very close over the phone and in letters.
Just because you are not looking into that person's eyes doesn't mean you can't pour your heart out to them. You can reveal your whole life through a letter because sometimes it's easier to get the words out that way. Looking into someone's else can prevent people from saying what they really feel because the facial expression on the other person may stop them.
There is no rejection or fear in a letter. Being somewhat anonymous gives people power to say things they would never say in person.
For example: I was acquainted with a man once who opened up about his terrible divorce and the illness of his mom. He have fun debates and I enjoyed speaking with him very much. Regrettable we never met in person. Maybe sometime we will meet.
You are defnintely not alone. I'm so sick of them that I actually started my profile with a message to the scammers not to waste my time as I see right through their fake profiles.
1. Put on a shirt so you look like the gentleman your are presenting. The pictures without a smile make you look mean, cold, and a thug. More like a guy that would be selling drugs on the street corner rather than having a real job.
2. Use better pictures in general. Your pictures make you look like a gang member and a slacker who sits on the couch playing video games all day. You read the profile and you sound like a wonderful and loving guy but then you look at the pictures and you sound like this: "wud up, dawg. How you doin, homie". That is a real turn off to women.
3. Stop using text talk abbreviations and spell your words correctly. You are a grown adult not some high school kid. It makes you look stupid and immature. It makes you look like you are not responsible enough to take care of yourself let alone a wife and kids.
Your profile reads like you are a great guy with a good character and morals. Now use pictures that match that wonderful guy.
The biggest insight to the poster is how they express themselves in their profile. You have men and women creating profiles full and anger and they can't figure out why noone wants to talk to them. Then when you point out the fact that nobody wants anything to do with them because they have anger issues they explode and attack you.
