I don't have a problem with any subject matter. If I find one I have deemed boring, or a poll, or I don't care for the subject then I just avoid that thread. Different strokes for different folks.
Yes, some are new here and may start a thread which they deem important or of interest even though you "oldies" have seen it repeated numerous times before. Just be patient with the "newbies" and "in-be-tweeners". Also, what is the time limit for being a "newbie"? I have been here 1 and 1/2 months.
I am going through my life crisis, too, right now, so I went out and bought a 'Vette, go clubbing every weekend, ride a Harley, and am screwing a 22 year old boytoy every night........
I love Florida. Sunshine 360 days out of the year with no snow.
Pool and jacuzzi out my back door with a nature preserve and walking paths next to my house. 2 golf courses 4 blocks away. 10 other golf courses within a 20 mile radius. Marina 10 minute drive to my sailboat with the Gulf of Mexico to sail and fish. 12 tennis courts 6 blocks away. 10 minutes from the beach. 90 minutes to Disney World and other tourist attractions. 20 minutes to Tampa and the theatre, big name entertainment, and the arts.
This summer I am taking a 4 week excursion to sail from Cabo San Lucas, Mexico to Anchorage, Alaska with 3 other sailing mates. Scuba diving, snorkeling, and fishing along the way. I can't wait to see the humpback whales migrating south and the glaciers calving. Also, once we dock in Alaska we are going backpacking in Denali National Park. If you could only take 3 items, other than clothing and food, what would the essentials be?
