It was hot down there and that was in December.

In response to: This summer I am taking a 4 week excursion to sail from Cabo San Lucas, Mexico to Anchorage, Alaska with 3 other sailing mates. Scuba diving, snorkeling, and fishing along the way. I can't wait to see the humpback whales migrating south and the glaciers calving. Also, once we dock in Alaska we are going backpacking in Denali National Park.

The only way anyone could drag me on such a cruise would be if it's within sight of land the entire time, and even that would be pushing it...but if I did brave it and go, I'd take a camera, a good book, and binoculars. I presume that they sell sunscreen on board.
Shark repellent had not better be any part of things I'd need...I'm not swimming in that water! They have a pool on board most cruise ships.
