We had a heavy snow fall warning out yesterday and got a bunch of it. Says we are to get more this afternoon then for the rest of the week the weather is turning nice again so the snow should all melt away.
I agree it is us good natured people that people think they can push around. I am told I am too nice, but people who say that don't really know me, as I will only take so much before I push back.
One of the stupidest things I have done is get a phone call from my boyfriend in the middle of the night and end up getting up and going over there instead of telling him I am going back to sleep, good night.
This is the last one I am going to tell. I was at the ex with my daughter and she wanted me to go on the roller coaster. As I have said I am scared of heights, but she convinced me to get on with her. I ended up closing my eyes and holding on so tight to the bar as I thought for sure I was going to fall out. I was so glad that it was over, and that was the first and last time I will ever go on a roller coaster.
I am scared of heights. We had gone on vacation and stopped at Jasper. The people we went with wanted to go up into the mountains. We were walking and I did not want to get on the ltram but was kind of pushed on, I ended up sitting on the floor until we got to the top and after I got off I was not able to go up the trails in the mountains I just wanted to get back down. The next tram that came I got on, and swore I will never let anyone talk me into it again.
I was just going over my past in my life and realized how many times I let someone else convince me to do something that I really did not want to do.
One time I had a neighbour who always asked me to babysit for her when she went out on the weekend, I do not like to look after other people's children but agreed to do it. After awhile I told her no, and she said why not, what else do you have to do. I ended up making up an excuse so that I did not have to babysit, and ended up going out when I just wanted to stay at home to make my lie real.
I will look up the web sites. Thank you. We are beening more strict with her now, just hope it is not too late. The poor baby she is not going to get away with nothing.
Send determination along with the stubborn streak, must go she just came and washed her hair, so now she has shampoo all over her head and soaking wet clothes. That what happens when I am not watching her, must also go and see where the baby is.
I say she is having too much sugar, but my daughter does not agree with me, she does not do the laughing and jumping all the time just some times, but mostly it is screaming and kicking which makes it hard to take her back to bed. I am unable to walk up the stairs and carry her, and sometimes it is the only way to get her to move as she will just not walk.
My daughter does it mostly but then she is unable to keep going up the stairs, so then I take over for a few times, then she does it again. Sometimes she will start running back up the stairs laughing and jump in bed but will turn around and follow us out again. My daughter thinks she has a medical problem as her mind does not seem to calm down.
My daughter gets upset as she gets up at 6 a.m. for work and says she cannot do this as she needs her sleep, we do not give in when she goes to bed until she finally fell asleep, it is just she will not stay asleep.
It is that she will scream and kick and just get back up right away. We have tried not saying anything but after awhile we end up giving up and bring her downstairs. I know we should not give up but after 2 hours we are just too warn out.
The doctor said the reason she was seeing things was more from the mushrooms that she ate. She went into the fridge and took them from the bag and ate them which had some dirt on them. He said it is like eating magic mushrooms and that is why she was seeing bugs. She is better this morning, and will walk on the floor again, although she looks like she is looking for something.
Today she was riding her bike in the house, she went from the kitchen into the living room and then started screaming in terror. I went in there and she was on the arm of the sofa hanging on for dear life. She would not walk on the floor as she said there were ants all over it. She would start screaming as I was holding her like they were crawling up her legs. She did this for half an hour when I phoned the ambulance and my daughter to come home from work. After 2 hours of still seeing bugs she took her to the medi centre.
We do have the same bedtime, my daughter get home at 6 p.m. we have supper, then her bath, p.j, and to bed with a story. The thing is after is when the fun starts when she comes back down stairs 5 minutes later, and the games start. We took 2 hours once trying to get her to stay in her room.
Now she is too old to do that, she will not stay in her room or bed. Knows how to open door even with the safety knobs n on. We put her back she comes back out, and often she is laughing when we put her back.
It seems like she cannot calm down her mind to fall asleep unless she is very tired after 2 days of not sleeping. Once she falls asleep she often will wake up in the middle of the night and not be able to get back to sleep.
