People watching is something I have done since I was a little girl with my parents. We used to park on the street and watch as the people walked by, usually on a Sunday as things were not open Sunday's then. I still do it but usually at the mall.
There are many things I should have said, There are many books I should have read, There are many paths I should have taken, So many times I've been mistaken.
Now each day as I rise from bed, With all the hours that lie ahead, Let me spend some on others' cares, Perhaps to answer someone's prayers.
Help me lighten some dark spot, Do the things that I forgot, Help me to remember please, Someone else's load to ease.
And when the day is over lord, Let me not say that I was bored, That I had nothing left to do, When I could be busy helping you.
I would like to travel to the past if I could change some of the things I did then only if I could remember from the present what it is I needed to change.
