Over 40 apparently being held in the theatre. Suicide bomber outside the stadium where France were playing Germany in a soccer match. Death toll rising.
Missed the last try tbh. Going to watch full game again tomorow and not sure about any shortlist. Need to do some reading but am knackered so messing about on here
Think SA have every chance but Ireland have slim to none
Yeah, we don't know the role of the parents and whether they have or are a positive caring influence on their daughter. Either way I think the girl needs to be punished and felt the whole sorry saga was handled badly by the officer, and by the school/teacher, depending on what the instructions/regulations for this situation were. At the end of the day Monte, they were the adults in this situation.
It didn't and I fail to understand why you would say it did. As I say, you either. Didn't read it. Did not comprehend it. Or deliberately lied about it
Even a biased piece like this does not claim that you live in a better and safer place than the rest of the world as evidenced by the statistics in the piece.
You start a thread asking questions. When you don't like some of the answers you make outlandish claims like above. Your bias and agenda is actually nauseating.
Done replying to you
And for the record. I am not against responsible gun ownership.
The only point I am making is the right to bear arms and the irresponsibility of the lawmakers and the owners leads to innocent lives being lost. There is a cost to having that right.
As I said earlier it seems to be a cultural thing Moose and I do respect people's right to bear arms. But so long as people know that innocent people will be because of this right. There are a lot of responsible gun owners and there is merit in some people owning guns.
Yeah me too Moose, I reckon the craic would be had
I see you still dip in and post a dubious conservative biased link from time to time I think the opposite is true Conrad
If you want to compare murder rates from the US against Venezuela, Mexico and Panama, with all their inherent problems you go right ahead. I try to hold the US to a higher standard and their murder rates per capita is well above so called civilised societies as your link proves. Part of the reason innocent people get killed, is the right to bear arms, the gun laws, and the gun lobby.
Nope, never said the US was to blame for that Moose, not sure where that came from
Comparing other ways people can be murdered really does not help. Anyone brandishing a knife going into a school is going to be taken out before they can kill 10/15/20 people. Comparing murder rates for guns against knives/baseball bats etc is ludicrous in my opinion.
Listen, in the US its a cultural thing and ingrained in people this right to bear arms and I respect that. I really do.
But because of your gun laws innocent people are killed, at a higher rate than in other so called civilised societies.
RE: Paris attacks: 60 reported killed, hostage situation ongoing
