Thought they also wanted it more Babette. Ireland have been the best team in the Northern Hemisphere for the last 2/3 years so it was no surprise really. Have not understood people predicting France and England doing better in this WC apart from our history of not performing at world cups. Ireland will be hard to beat.
They were fantastic against Wales when they were under the kosh with 13 men (2 men in the sinbin). Defended like their lives depended on it. If the Aussies don't win the WC, they are going to take some stopping.
A couple of important matches to decide groups today.
First up Samoa v Scotland. If Scotland win they qualify, along with S Africa. If Samoa win Japan could qualify.
Australia v Wales to decide who wins the group. This could be a cracker as both will want to in to avoid SA in Qtr Final.
There is also a friendly match organised late in the day to promote rugby in England and try to get more people playing and understanding the game in the hope that they can compete in the future. England v Uruguay
I suppose you can only beat whats in front of you and would expect them to up their game against better opposition. In saying that if they play like that against a top team they could be in trouble. They have over a week to get it right, and I expect them to, but yeah, they were sloppy.
Yep, less poooey in 2nd half and I suppose they only have Ireland or France in qtr final so they are aiming to peak in a fortnight. I jest but it would not surprise me if it were true
Ah I see Pete is having an influence. Did you hear he loves lamb and mutton, preferably alive, backing into him from the edge of a cliff You didn't hear that from me
RE: would you date a blonde-head?
Would preferably prefer someone with a body.
