If u don't, u will have Headaches Always tired Snapping to all and sundries Telling everyone that will listen, how bad a job u have Etc.
I love my job, as it makes life easier for all the computer systems I design and write, to make life easier for the people using the applications.

Do or don't u like ur job or do u just work to earn a salary. If so it is counter productive for the company and u. U thus have no pride in urself for a job well done !
I once write a computer system for a big hotel there, and had to be indoors till late in the afternoon, under air conditioning, but I survived. Very beautifull, terraced to the sea.
Yes, that's the climate in Joburg, where I currently live.
Durban, has a tropical climate like urs.
Then in Cape Town, the mother city, It has a fine rain mostly, that's why it's so green, but it gets quite chilly. The Cape region, stretches from the sea, inland thru semi-desert, where it meets another region, where u find Bloemfontein, where the climate is more dry.
I personally feel SA is the best country in the world.
We have temperatures in summer peeking at about 45 C and in winter lows of just into the minuses.
We have rain, sun, lovely scenery, mountains, rivers, hardly any snow except on the highest mountains, and seas ranging from warm in Durban to freezing in Langebaan.
It is absolutely gorgeous !

I know. My younger son is a chef. He only has off two days a week, if he doesn't have to stand in for someone else. He works non stop, with hardly a break.
I work 24/7. When physically sitting in front of the computer doing new developments, I work, and after hours I think about work. So I need Cs in between.
