It would be a lot to ask of anyone. The guy might be in the same situation. Huge committment and what if it didn't work out. Pack up and move back, start over twice.
That all those that can't help/defend themselves being abused/neglected, homeless, helpless, hopeless, afraid, lonely, tired, angry would be lifted from their troubles and given the two most important things. Love and Hope.
