Have a 18 and 21 year old sons. Don't give in. Stick to the rules you set down and never waver. Easy for me to 'say' but actually doing it is where I go wrong. They both turned out great though. It wasn't so great when they lived with their mother. Good luck. You should get a lot of good advice about this from others.
Sorry, forgot the second part. Not relevant anyway anymore.
I understand your frustration. You must have a lot of patience. The only upside, is I love the History Channel. Always have it on too. The 'dog' peeing thing is unacceptable. The thing you didn't say was do you both share the expenses equally? Is is your place? Hers? Others included?
Can a neighbor or friend walk the dogs?
It's tough having a roommate. Just living with someone is tough.
So true. Relax. Have some fun and give it some time before you decide whether this is for you or not. Got nothing to lose and some friends to gain, maybe.
Only the second posts I've ever copied. I know the things I shouldn't do but do them anyway. Maybe if it's written in b/w right in front of me, I'll think twice before jumping into the pits of hell where my ex-gf lives.
Claayer, you're such a sweet person (not the first time I've said it), that we're sort of attempting to connect with you and your loss somehow. I lost my best friend three years ago and went through a lot of the same stages that you'll go through. You're in the right place and will get whatever you need from all of us.
