hi dee ..... i know its hard but if you lose trust completely then you lose yourself ..... thats JMO
i've been let down many times too, have felt like giving up but being on my own is the last thing i want all the same. so i started to look back cos when there was a pattern then i only have myself to blame for that! there always were signs that i chose to ignore or clutching at similar traits because they were familiar, even though I knew they would lead to the same heartache. i was allowing myself not to expect the best cos i felt i didn't deserve it.
once i came to realise this I knew it was myself I had to work on, get me and myself at 100% then look a little left and right at the ones i normally wouldn't go for. i'm getting there and much happier in myself. not letting myself get sucked into things as i did before and just enjoying me being me these days and see what the future will hold, whats meant to be will be! ....... one last thing though, dont blame someone new for something someone else has done .... its very easy to panic and feel insecure for little or no reason etc when its been done in the past so always stop yourself first if you can
hope this helps, again its JMO and my belief we are responsible for how things turn out in our lives ...... not someone else

Need to live for you and do things that you want to do when you want to do them. Trust in yourself and that there is a nice life out there for you. Know that you deserve that nice life. Go out and get it!

Take some time off and get to know yourself better; don't pressure yourself to be and to do what you are not able to right now.

What I found with some of the "choices" I made in the past is they weren't so much choices as "reactions" to things that had happened before ...
Little by little and with time you will be able to discover WHO you really are and WHAT really makes you tick ...
If you keep asking yourself the question when dealing with everything (small and big) - Is this a "reaction" or do I really feel like this ... then listen to your feelings for the answer ... Same goes for likes and dislikes ... interests/hobbies ... decisions ... buying clothes ... going out ... You name it!!!!
Then when you are a "whole you" warts and all ... You will be able to recognise the same in others and IT will happen
