it's even more scary cos some filling stations are profiteering. one was apparently charging £1.45 (approx $2.50) for a litre of diesel. petrol has already rocketed to new highs and the effect is devastating. prices in supermarkets are soaring because of the extra expense. just how much more can the british public take???
strikes at the grangemouth oil refinery are imminent and fears over a possible fuel shortage have sparked panic buying in scotland and northern england. a 2 day strike is planned next week and already some filling stations have run out. people are panicking so much that they're out filling up their cars and even petrol cans!! anyone else seen the bloody queues at the filling stations? i had to wait over half an hour tonight to get to a pump. it's pretty scary
hell yes. i've been chatting/phoning a girl i met on here from the states for over a month now and by my reckoning she owes me at LEAST 5k by now. can't wait for her arrive
since i split with my ex i tend to be a bit more lazy than i was before. if there's a job that needs done it can usually be put off a while longer - at least till the day before the kids arrive. strange thng though, i tend to eat at the table more now than i ever did when they were here. i used to be happy relaxing in my chair with my tea but now i very rarely do that.
sounds dodgy to me. does she want the mney sent western union perchance? if so then you'll know it's a scam. they all use WU to transfer funds. i recently had some fun with a scammer. 'she' wanted me to send money via WU to an account belonging to AHMED something or other lol. also, try googling her e-mail addy or name. you may well find she's listed on scammers.com or some other scam site. either way, keep hold of your hard earned and don't send a cent!!!
get some rolls of wallpaper (blank) and take it out in the garden and let them paint pictures or stomp around in the paint and make handprints/footprints etc then go hang the paper on one wall in their bedroom. great fun. specially when it's up
so what you're telling me is that they REALLY do have to walk to the centre of the road to board a bus in manchester? that's soooooooo crazy! all they have to do is move the bloody bus stops to the other side of the road
seriously, get a hold of nero. that will do everything for you. it'll convert as it burns. also works very well when converting various movie formats to dvd too.
that was my first thought actually. but then i began to think.........if that's the case then why don't they put the bus stop at the other side? if you have to go to the middle of the road to board the bus then someone could be overtaking. either way, it looks quite dangerous to me.
Not so sure about 'grown up' m8. grown OLD certainly. Also, if your punctuation and spelling is anything to go by then perhaps corrie is right up your street
watching corrie last night i noticed that tina had to walk off the pavement and round to the middle of the road to board a bus. now, in my experience of buses, the drive on the left side of the road and the passenger entrance is on the left so basically, u just step off the pavement and into the bus but it seems that perhaps they might do this differently in manchester. i'd have thought that having to walk around and board in the middle of the road could be quite dangerous. do they really do this in manchester? i NEED to know!!!!!!!!!!
RE: Can you play an instrument?...
