Yeah there's heated, which can be fun

and theres heated and personal which..... tho good to read, tends to lead to riots n all kinds of stuff, seeing as I'm kinda new I'd at least like to get me feet far enough under the table to know when to duck n stuff

Because they are only hearing the bits they want to hear, The "I like you" bit registered, and the "But you do realise this isn't ever going to be that serious" part goes in and out, because "they" are that much more special that it surely can't apply to them, some you could chisel it into the forehead and it still wouldn't be in the mirror, and yeah i've done the cop a deaf one and not heard parts before in self delusion, thankfully not to often !

Not really a player then? maybe at different speeds in expectations? He showed respect and honesty, Someone playing would of had the cake, had seconds, gone round the rest of the harem and had a full buffet?!

Maybe he was planning on playing, and saw that you where above the kind of person he normally lunched on and spared you the ordeal?! tricky for sure!

It MIGHT be the fact that they got to far ahead of themselves, Mr/Miss?Mrs desperate gets nice mails from stunner and falls over tongue thinking this could be it! while the stunner could well still be thinking, well, it'd be nice to find out what they're like?! or they could be trying to lure you in along with half a dozen others?!

And yep mutual honesty IS the only way to go

Years ago I've strayed and not been caught, also had people go astray on me,(twice to my knowledge) and caught them out. The last one, couple of years ago, felt like my guts had been ripped out emotionally, knowing how it feels to catch someone sharing the goodies, its not something I'd ever consider doing again
