I always put my child first.
Never had compromised in this 'department' and firmly believe it's the only right way to go. You owe it to your children until they are old enough.

Frankly, it's not for every person - to get involved with someone who has small children. It's tough. Not every woman/man cut out to become a step-parent, and not everybody is willing to take on this challenge.

If he is the right person for you, he will find the way to adjust to your lifestyle.
