The reason this place levels you out, IMO -

it's purely digital dating, so you don't feel threatened anyone would insist on actually meeting you - very relaxing place

It depends. What are the reasons? Why your daughter dislikes this lady?

If it's just your daughter's selfish moods, not wanting to share her daddy with a 'stranger', then you'll have to assure her that she'll always be your baby no matter what. No one ever will come between you and your child.

But you have your own life to live too. At 16 she does understand.



P.S. On the other hand: if you've been with this woman for a long time, surely your daughter knows her well and she might have a serious valid reasons for not wanting you to continue seeing this lady?

There must be more to this story.

But it doesn't really matter. This thread is still very beneficial in many aspects.

I would imagine the are some people out there - normal, regular ppl - who need to sort these kind of things out for themselves too, but would NEVER post such an odd thread, hence it's good to have CSers talking here and now...

Yes.

Two of them.

One at my workplace, who used to spend 50% of his work day in my cubicle towering above me with all his 300-pound 6'3" body, making me feel like I was going to faint from unbearable stench coming from his mouth... The one who would accuse everybody of hating blacks... whenever ppl dared to contradict him.

And another one -
that I've met here on CS. Who became a dear friend. An absolutely charming, amazing and gorgeus man.

If the guy knows that girls in their mid-twenties (which would be his preference) look for 40-y-o guys, he cuts his search to 18-24 range.

And for a 19-y-o, someone who is 5 years older - it is a very big difference, IMO.

It's greater than a quarter of his life difference.
