I get on with all my neighbors my next door neighbors especially . We’ve had dinner together shared bbqs together. They invited my family to their wedding which we attended. All is lovely in my neighborhood.
6 weeks is the right time for a new kitten to go to a new parent. I had a six week kitten given to me which had not been socialized very much because the man who owned the mother had kept his cat and her kittens in his garage and he worked a lot so didn’t have much time to handle all the kittens to socialize them. Well he gave me one and at first the kitten was a bit feisty with claws but I persevered and then that little cat grew to love me and followed me everywhere. I had that cat 23 years.
