Thanks curly to be honest I am enjoying the great strong offshore breezes we are having at the moment and the rain is always welcome - in between the bursts of sun

Rob - if it so hot in Victoria by the 23rd March (meet up) I will be bringing some of this rain with me - promise. :wave:

My best 'Party Time' would have to be the years I spent in Spain working in tourism - it was one long holiday, with a bit of work somewhere along the line

I could write a book about it, going out all night, changing in the club loos into my uniform meeting the coach that took me to the airport at 5 am, getting back to hotel. Few hours later drinking champagne around about breakfast time for the 'Welcome Party'.

Overbookings, lost passports, car accidents, lost money, drunks getting in trouble with local police, translating in court for a man whose son tried to stab him

- all in a day's work. Enough to drive you to drink

Best time of my life, so glad I did it then as I couldn't do it now.

The best comment I have heard in a long time is from an almost 80yo Pom who lives in NZ and has the driest wit, he reckons "If I had known retirement was going to be this good I would never have started work in the first place"

He grows his own vegies, chops his own wood for the winter, does some voluntary work associated with his hobby, visits his family and goes to the same pub for tea on Friday night that he has been going to for about 40 yrs! Gotta love em?

It's raining men!

OMG - the drought has broken!

Went out for a bite to eat with a couple of friends and a great girlfriend of mine from Sydney.

We didn't know til we got there that the Tavern is right opposite the Sports Centre which is hosting the RL National Masters comp!

Whoa! Wall to wall fit men

Had a total blast, DJ, Bucking Bull, got 'dates' for tonight

Yep Kristia Qld is taking a battering from storms and non-stop rain

The beaches on the Gold Coast have been badly damaged, 3 metre high sand cliffs where the beach used to be in some places

Think I heard the BOM say that the cyclone season is going to go thru March and April.

The drought seems so long ago?
