Daylight Saving

After being in Sydney for a week (used to live there) made me realise how much we need daylight saving in Qld??

Please, please, please I will vote for any politician that will promise to bring it in in Qld.

To have that extra hour or two of daylight at the end of the day would be just brilliant?

Went for dinner at the Glen with a couple of girlfriends only a few weeks ago its a great venue. If I can persuade her to go, if she is free we might make it?? She would have to drive (again) as I would have a hope in hells chance of finding it again - not a good night driver if I don't know exactly where I am going

Hardly unpacked my bags from Sydney but will see ....... do you need numbers for dinner/tables etc.???

Annoying ads

I've had those survey people ring me and ask for 5 mins of my time, they then proceed to ask me about banks and sports sponsorship or ads on TV. I feel a bit embarrassed when I can remember the ads but have no idea what the product is?

I didn't like to say I either hit the 'mute' button or read the newspaper when the ads are on most of the time so I am not taking much notice.

Personally wanting2met I would not employ or pay a 'life coach' as at my age, (55) if I haven't figured things out then I never will, and it is probably too late!

Might be different story if I was in my 20's and at a crossroads in my life but I have always been an independent, get up and go kind of person - life throws some curve balls at you sometimes but it all about dealing with life's issues along the way?

Yes it bothers me if I thought I was going to be alone til I died whenever that may be.

I want someone around when I let my hair go grey, put my teeth in the mug in the bath roomk every night, have to find my glasses before I can find the batteries for my hearing aids - and yet he still looks at me and tells me he loves me more than ever, every day?

If I thought I would never be loved again I would resign frmo CS?

Is that new Coles ad - "There's no freshness, like Coles freshness" (to the tune of there's no business like show business - one of the most annoying ads you have ever heard?

I thought the "Down, down, prices are down" was bad enough, then they had that abomination with Normie Rowe for Australia Day??

Sure their ad agency has been infiltrated by Woolies double agents and they have cunningly come up with some really bloody annoying ads?

It is something special to make someone smile or laugh? I work in Aged Care and see a lot of people, not everybody with poor health and good reason to be miserable. I love to make them smile or even better laugh - it costs nothing.

Had a blueberry muffin for morning tea and a white choc macadamia cookie at the Coffee Club for afternoon tea while I was waiting for the after school traffic to settle down.
