RE: If C.S. was a movie

hmmm, i don't know who would play me but vincent price, boris karloff and lon chaney could play some of the guys on here...and betty davis in "whatever happened to baby jane" and elizabeth taylor in "who's afraid of virginia wolff" and jessica lang in "mommy dearest" could be a good portrayal of some of the women...professor rolling on the floor laughing rolling on the floor laughing rolling on the floor laughing

so....i'm renting a little place, and when i say little, that's no stretch of the imaginationprofessor uh oh laugh but i like it...the less clutter, the better...but i have to have flowers around me...it's just something i've grown to love and appreciate...BUT, the dirt has'nt been worked in a very long time...alot of people think they can grow plants...they think there is nothing to it...plant a seed, give it water, and watch it grow...they never think about the soil...the soil is EVERYTHING...wether you are working a vegetable garden or a flower garden, it takes the same things...one of the most important things that is over looked is oxygen...most people know that plants need co2...but they tend to forget that they also need oxygen...where do they get this oxygen ??...from the roots...hmmm...how do they get this oxygen to the roots ?...in the wild, they get it from loose soil...the oxygen reaches the roots through loose soil because, nothing of any extreme weight is continually walking on it {the soil, that is}...
the place i've rented has black dirt...it has a characteristic of clay...after years of rain {which packs the soil} and people walking on it {which packs the soil even further}, nothing will grow in it but weeds...because, they've grown adapt to the invironment and can cope with harsh elements...but when you introduce something beautiful into a harsh land, it takes work to make it thrive...ALOT OF WORK...i was pondering this this evening because my land lord is a weekend gardenerlaugh which he has no clue in knowing that, just because it's not the weekend, does'nt mean you can put your garden off...because if you do, the weeds will over take it before you can blink...he wants a garden you can get ALL of you vegetables from without going to the supermarket...the thing is, he has no respect for the soil...he's continually walking where the roots are needing oxygen, and he thinks that mulch will solve everythingdoh laugh ...like i said earlier, it's all about the soil...which takes relentless work...even in winter, you mend the soil...love is the same way...it takes continual work..."a work of love", if you will...so, next time you think you want to plant that seed remember, it takes alot of work...or that seed will quickly die, a painful death...you can bandage it with mulch and fertilizer...but it needs alot more...and takes alot of work to give it what it needs...it takes alot of work..."a work of love".........
