1. I had a lady call in regards to a truck that had been advertised in the classifieds. I tried to explain to her that we didn't own a truck nor were we selling one so I hung up.
She must've called back at least two more times insisting that we had this truck for sale and each time she became more and more frustrated with me and started calling me a liar saying "Well,I know you have a truck for sale cause I was at your home the other day.I just hung up on her and let the answering machine take her calls.I also turned the taped calls from this person over to our phone company for harrassment. Never heard back from that lady after that.
1. Then another time I recieved a call from a lady who said she was from a collections agency and that were behind in our house payment. I explained to her that we never owned a house. She explained that she was calling in regards to Social Security number such and such. I told her that that number wasn't my late husbands. She asked me to give her the correct number and I told her I wasn't giving her any personal info. I smelled scam and hung up.
I guess this lady thought I had stupid written across my forehead.
I don't like seeing someone hurting either. When I read some of the heart broken stories on this site my heart goes out to those people and I wish I could take their pain away. I just wish I could reach through my computer screen and just say to them it's ok and give them a huge hug.
We're all unique in our own Special way.
I've always tried to treat people the very same way I hope they treat me in return.
