RE: Why do men not want to get married any more?

I doubt if I'll ever get married again.

If I met someone I really loved I'd just as soon live together and sign a pre-nup agreement.

That way if our relationship didn't work out we just go our seperate ways and take what's our own belongings without lawyers involved.

RE: other songs, lyrics and chords?? ;-}

"All The Way"by Celine Dion (duet with Frank Sinatra)

When somebody loves you
It's no good unless he loves you - all the way
Happy to be near you
When you need someone to cheer you - all the way

Taller than the tallest tree is
That's how it's got to feel
Deeper than the deep blue sea is
That's how deep it goes - if its real

When somebody needs you
It's no good unless he needs you - all the way
Through the good or lean years
And for all the in between years - come what way

Who know where the road will lead us
Only a fool would say
But if you'll let me love you
It's for sure I'm gonna love you - all the way, all the way

RE: The Fishing Trip

RE: If You Had Three Wishes

I would wish for a handsome man.

I would wish for a cozy hut to sleep in.

I would wish for plenty of food and drink.

RE: What would you do if.........

Why would anyone throw their life away on a married man in the first place?

If they're cheating on their wife then they're most certainly going to cheat on you.

RE: Dinner and Dancing, Romantic Foreplay ?

You're a sweetie.lips heart wings

RE: Dinner and Dancing, Romantic Foreplay ?

I'm just an old fashioned kind of gal who likes the idea of a man picking me up at my door and helping me in the car is how I'd like to be courted.

Being taken out to dinner and helped with my chair or maybe even a picnic would be nice and maybe dancing later would be also part of the courting scene especially if it's considered the very first date. Some hand holding and conversation would be nice too.

RE: ok...how about this one....

doh

RE: just tell someone

Sorry but I don't flirt.

RE: what was the most

The day I met and married my late husband and gave birth to my sons.

RE: Profile photos that can turn us off.

thumbs up

RE: What would you do if.........

I wouldn't have got mixed up with a married man in the first place.

RE: what matters more: looks or personality?

Personality first and foremost, sense of humor second, looks last.

RE: C.S. Matchmakers...come and take a spin...

Thought this was fitting for this thread.

- Matchmaker Lyrics

“Matchmaker”

Hodel:
Well, somebody has to arrange the matches,
Young people can't decide these things themselves.

Chava:
She might bring someone wonderful----

Hodel:
Someone interesting----

Chava:
And well off----

Hodel:
And important---

Matchmaker, Matchmaker,
Make me a match,
Find me a find,
catch me a catch
Matchmaker, Matchmaker
Look through your book,
And make me a perfect match

Chava:
Matchmaker, Matchmaker,
I'll bring the veil,
You bring the groom,
Slender and pale.
Bring me a ring for I'm longing to be,
The envy of all I see.

Hodel:
For Papa,
Make him a scholar.

Chava:
For mama,
Make him rich as a king.

Chava and Hodel:
For me, well,
I wouldn't holler
If he were as handsome as anything.

Matchmaker, Matchmaker,
Make me a match,
Find me a find,
Catch me a catch,
Night after night in the dark I'm alone
So find me match,
Of my own.

(spoken)

Tzeitel:
Since when are you in a match, Chava? I thought you had your eye on your books.

(Hodel chuckles)

Tzeitel con't:
And you have your eye on the Rabbi's son.

Hodel:
Well, why not?
We have only one Rabbi and he has only one son.
Why shouldn't I want the best?

Tzeitel:
Because you're a girl from a poor family.
So whatever Yenta brings, you'll take, right?
Of course right!

(throws scarf over her head, imitating Yenta)
(singing)

Hodel, oh Hodel,
Have I made a match for you!
He's handsome, he's young!
Alright, he's 62.
But he's a nice man, a good catch, true?
True.

I promise you'll be happy,
And even if you're not,
There's more to life than that---
Don't ask me what.

Chava, I found him.
Won't you be a lucky bride!
He's handsome, he's tall,
That is from side to side.
But he's a nice man, a good catch, right?
Right.

You heard he has a temper.
He'll beat you every night,
But only when he's sober,
So you'll alright.

Did you think you'd get a prince?
Well I do the best I can.
With no dowry, no money, no family background
Be glad you got a man!

Chava:
Matchmaker, Matchmaker,
You know that I'm
Still very young.
Please, take your time.

Hodel:
Up to this minute,
I misunderstood
That I could get stuck for good.

Chava and Hodel:
Dear Yenta,
See that he's gentle
Remember,
You were also a bride.
It's not that
I'm sentimental

Chava and Hodel and Tzeitel:
It's just that I'm terrified!

Matchmaker, Matchmaker,
Plan me no plans
I'm in no rush
Maybe I've learned
Playing with matches
A girl can get burned
So,
Bring me no ring
Groom me no groom
Find me no find
Catch me no catch
Unless he's a matchless match.

RE: What's on your bucket list?

Usually I'm a happy person, but today I'm just feeling alittle down but I'll get through it one day,one hour, one minute and one second.

RE: Back pain advice "I need some"

Tater You probably strained your lower back from lifting to much. I have a bad back too caused by a auto accident and if I lift to much or sit or lay in one position to long my lower back becomes very painful and tightens up.

Maybe you do need to go to a doctor to see what's going on.

Does your work required to wear a back brass like they wear at Home Depot?

RE: What's on your bucket list?

I don't have a Bucket List.

I just want to enjoy all that the good the lord has provided me in this crazy mixed up world.

Before I leave this earth I'd like to look back and say I did have some cool experiences and some were not so good but I was a survivor after all.
