i wouldn't want to catch her doing either one, even though pot is illegal and drinking ain't they are both equally as bad
sadly, as good as you try to raise your child they will experiment (i did), all you can do is hope that they use a little common sense and put the keys down, unfortinately alot of kids dont though and end up getting seriously hurt or dead or accidently killing others that can traumatize and ruin the rest of there lifes (and the families of the victoms), thats why if i ever caught my daughter experimenting with ANYTHING i would take away her license, and when or IF she got it back she would not be driving much for a VARY LONG time
you also have to think about prescription drugs because that is a FASTLY growing problem with the youth today and vary easy for them to get
well I did a Liquor store world tour years back, I'm sure my parents thought there goes the world but I only tryed 2 beers of every country, like I mean why get all bent up.....\\
Crack dope or any Synthetic substance would have me worried as a kid thats for sure...
When I was a kid we drove a friend home he was gooned and we carried him to the door and pushed him in and closed the door, his mom was not happy... we tip toed away
Being only 19 myself it is still illegal for me to drink but I really don't chose to do so! I have drank though with my parents and family and we never leave the dirt road poodunk community I live in as it is all mostly my family! I don't see drinking until you are drunk right at all! I was in Protecting You Protecting Me which is a program in which I was eduated on the effects alcohol has the brain and taught the children from grades 1st to 5th! Honestly Drinking has a larger effect than smoking as drinking effects all receptors of the brain and smoking only effects certain ones! Though I believe both are wrong! We taught the children to never ride in a vechicle with someone that had been drinking even if it was their parents and if they did where to sit and to always be sure to put their seatbelts on. If I was a mother I think I would raise my kids the same as my parents raised me, if you let your children know its ok to drink with them as long as you drink in moderation, they are going to be less likely to go and drink behind your back. Thats just my opinion on the subject! As for smoking I hope no child of mine would ever chose that path and if they did I would help them through it and be sure they knew how wrong it was.
